The Blood Speaks

The most important experience in a man’s life is salvation. Salvation is an exchange of life.  Life for life-that is, to gain life you give life instead. The life you lose in this process is the life of death so you can gain eternal life in return. Salvation contains four unique activities thus:

  1. The exchange of life, Gal 2:20.
  2. Change in location, kingdom and position, Col 1:12.
  3. Change of authority, Col 1:12-13.
  4. Change of inheritance. This is the inheritance of eternal life and righteousness, Rom 8:17, 5:8.

Heb 12:24 and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Everything God has He willed to Christ and by reason of our sonship we inherit same, Col1:12. No man can work hard enough to possess God’s inheritance but by the redemptive work of Christ. Only Jesus fits for God’s inheritance and kingdom.

HEIRS MENTALITY

Gal 4:4-7  But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, coming into being out of a woman, having come under Law, that He might redeem those under Law, so that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. So that you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, also an heir of God through Christ.

Jesus is an heir of God. Our sonship and adoption into God’s family gave us same access Christ has. This is our God-given position in Him. Same sacrifice made for sin was also made for our sicknesses, diseases and poverty.  As a matter of fact, when you are born again, you should never fall into sin, nor become poor and caught up in bondage. In reality, I know we face these unpleasant situations. It is not normal and should be rejected. If you experience these things, it implies a strange king has risen in your life. This strange King would impose a taskmaster such as curse, poverty, sickness or disease over you.

Exodus 1:8-14, 2:23-25
8
And there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. 9 And he said to his people, Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are many and mightier than we. 10 Come, let us deal slyly with them, lest they multiply, and it will be when there comes a war, they join also to our enemies, and fight against us, and get out of the land. 11 And they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built treasure cities for Pharaoh, Pithon and Raamses. 12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the sons of Israel. 13 And the Egyptians made the sons of Israel serve with harshness. 14 And they made their lives bitter with hard work in mortar and in bricks, and in all kinds of work in the field; all their work in which they made them do was with harshness.

23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. 24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

WHO IS A TASKMASTER?

A taskmaster is a superior who assigns tasks and duties beyond his subject’s capacity and compels him to do it.

MANIFESTATION OF A TASKMASTER

  1. Failure in serving God – When you have a taskmaster over your life you can’t serve God adequately and faithfully.
  2. Scarcity of success – taskmaster bars or delays success in people’s lives.
  3. Lose of joy and salvation – a taskmaster ensures you lose the joy you derive in knowing God.
  4. Activities of disfavour – a taskmaster does not permit the experience of favour in the lives of their captives.

Rom 5:11-15
11
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Man became a slave to sin (the taskmaster) until Jesus Christ came to deliver him from it. The reason people go back to Egypt is because there are deceptive pleasures in a strange land. Satan enjoys the slavery and servitude of mankind and also enjoys the ride while it last.

Five Things The Blood Of Christ Speaks About

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

  1. The blood speaks atonement; it makes up for committed sins, Rom 5:11, Lev 17:11.
  2. It speaks remission; it pays back spiritual debt and frees you from judgment.
  3. It speaks redemption; total recovery, deliverance and rescue.
  4. It speaks justification; it puts you in right standing with God.
  5. It signals the commencement of the new covenant, Rom 8:31-39, 5:9.

Conclusion

Having known what the precious blood of Christ has done for you, hold fast your profession by saying it, writing it and acting it. This shows you recognition of what Jesus has done for you on the cross of Calvary. Your redemption holds as long as you can stretch and hold your faith. Reenact the new covenant.

A sickness free life

There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems.
