Ordination is a yearly practice at The Stone Church. In every Sunday service marking the climax of Dunamis, pastors and elders are ordained across the branches of the church to join in steering and coordinating the work and affairs of the ministries and churches that make up the commission. This year is not an exception as new pastors and elders who measure up with biblical standards and the church’s requirements where ordained by the set man of the church.
These are men and women of proven character and acceptable spiritual, behaviourial and attitudinal qualities; men and women found to be diligent in church and not in wantonness in their individual endeavours. These are individuals with grace and excellence, who have proven to God their willingness and availability for His work. The saying cannot be less true that God qualifies the called and empowers them for the commission and tasks He has saddled them with.
We at The Stone Church believe God is the owner and doer of His work. We are just instruments used by Him to accomplish His work in the physical that is why we are not reluctant to partner with God in this highly esteemed commission.
