There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems. The possibility is that it could affect these parts. Every human drug has the tendency to do damage once it is misdirected.
Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.”
What is the quickening? How will your mortal bodies be quickened? In responding to those questions, some other translations tell us that your mortal bodies receive life. This life is from your spirit. If there is a mental problem, the life can permeate from your spirit into your soul. Also, if there is a physical illness, the life can permeate from your spirit into your body.
If you would only use the word of God as your medicine it has no side effects. The word of God from your spirit man will permeate your whole body. The life of God will permeate your limbs, your heart, your liver, your lungs, your kidneys and all other vital organs. If you believe and apply this scripture, you will begin to experience the life of God in your body and it will make you whole.
Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You have the life of God in you and it can permeate your entire being. When you pray for the sick, your hands become the contact point through which the power and life of God is released. It does not matter whether you are a pastor or an ordinary member of a church, what matters is that you have the life of God in you.
The reason that great possibilities take place in your life is because Christ sits on your inside. Like the donkey that Jesus rode on his way to Jerusalem. The donkey stepped on clothes and other materials on the way because it carried Jesus Christ on its back. The reason you could trample on the serpents and situations of life is because you have Christ seated on the throne of your heart.
It is possible for us to live a sickness free life because the abundant life that we have through Jesus Christ has bought and brought us this benefit. Jesus Christ is the source of the abundant life and because you have Him dwelling on your inside, He will put you over situations of life. Nothing will be impossible for you because you have the abundant life of God residing in you!
