Aderonke Oni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Relations both from the University of Ibadan. Afterwards, she proceeded to obtain certificates through online studies in
- Understanding Modern Business and Organizations, organized by University of Strathclyde, Glasgow through Futurelearn.
- Managing Talents; Inspiring and Motivating Individuals, both studies organized by University of Michigan through Coursera.
- International Organizations Management, organized by Universite De Genève through Coursera.
She started her banking career as an Officer- in – Training and later transferred to the Computer Department as a database administrator, having gone through training on Fundamentals of database administration and passed the examination. She rose through the ranks in a career spanning Twelve (12) years in the banking industry, working in banks like Union Homes Savings and Loans Plc, Intercontinental Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc and Fidelity Bank Plc; she served in various capacities as follows: Team Lead – Retail Banking; Relationship Manager at different banks and rose to become a Branch Manager before she eventually left the industry voluntarily in year 2013. While in the banking industry, she also engaged in training staff of her resident branch on weekly basis all through her career in the industry.
Upon her voluntary resignation from the banking industry, she joined the University of Ibadan, working with the Office of International Programmes as the Administration and Finance Officer of the Unit until when she voluntarily resigned her appointment to take on the position of the Stone Church Administrator. As an International Office Administrator, she has attended many career development conferences within and outside Nigeria and successfully made paper presentations at one of such international conferences that held at Beijing, China.
Aderonke Oni joined the Stone Church Family in June 1998 and is a fervent member of the Prayer Band ministry of the church, a graduate of YMTS (Young Ministers Training School) and the Head of Fellowship, Ladies Fellowship, Stone Church, Mokola. She is happily married with children.
