God gives us promises so that through such promises we can apprehend and access His riches. There is always a time of harvest for every planting. At the fullness of time, God has promised that He would cause every circumstance to line up and work for our good.
This is why you should always confess and thank the Lord for the blessings and harvest that would soon come your way. It must never be forgotten that every believer is called to fruitfulness and productivity.
Mainly, the reason that God chose us is for us to produce fruits. This is why He called us and chose us and anointed us so that we can bring forth fruit. When we bring forth fruits, it means we have answers to our prayers and have received the favour of God.
Every father loves it when their children do well in life. Fruitfulness is important because it brings glory to God the Father. Hence it makes others to see Him in what we do and there is great joy when this happens because it makes God to be proud of us.
Jesus Christ is the vine and we are the branches that bear fruits. Every branch in Him that does not bear fruit, He will cut off. No one can get away with unfruitfulness. When we are unfruitful, it means we have taken God’s grace and benefits for granted.
The Lord sees to it that He purges every branch that is productive in Him. To purge is to make sure that a person or thing is pure, clean and healthy by getting rid of bad thoughts and unclean substances. God does this because He sees us inside and outside.
No matter your current level of output, God can still increase you. God is the one who empowers us to be more fruitful. Though some people have the desire to prosper and increase their productivity, but it is the Lord that gives the increase.
The Lord of the harvest purges and empowers us in our various endeavours for greater output as we yield ourselves to Him. As the Lord cleanses us of the hindrances and limitations to our productivity, He makes us stronger and healthier to produce our utmost.
