Dedication In Action

“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. (John 12:24 AMP)

This is your season of prosperous harvest but your productivity is determined by dedication. No matter how great your vision or provision is, if it is not backed with dedication you cannot be prosperous.

Dedication is what gives value to your effort in life. Dedication to whatever you do in life is a must in order to prosper and have good success. Receiving guidance from God is the seed for exploits, your dedication to the pursuit of that vision is what plants the seed. The extent of your dedication first to God and then to your calling or assignment is what will determine the magnitude of your impact and prosperity. Dedication is a persevered determination to perform a task.

People gauge everything by “feeling”, meaning whatever they feel like doing or whatever they don’t feel like doing. Their passion is valued over dedication. Instant gratification is prized over true fulfillment. The passion and desire for the things of God, including loving, giving and serving others, will produce dedication and ultimately fulfillment. The greatness of any nation or organization is tied to the service and dedication of its leaders.

Simply put, a dedicated person puts in the best into what he or she does; a dedicated person pays attention to details and perfection. “Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.” (Psalm 119:38 KJV). The power of dedication and devotion is the secret behind the establishment of God’s word in a man’s life. Dedication makes you a servant whom God can and will entrust wealth. The way Joseph’s master Potiphar entrusted all things to his hands because of dedication is the same way God gives prosperity.

When you dedicate yourself to serving God, He will in turn be dedicated to your prosperity. Hence the Amplified translation of the above Scripture says, “Establish Your word and confirm Your promise to Your servant, which is for those who reverently fear and devotedly worship You.” (Psalm 119:38 AMP) God will only bring His promises to pass in the life of dedicated believers; prosperity and wealth are promises to expect when you dedicate yourself totally to God.

Dedication is an act of worship and God expects that true worship should be with absolute devotion. “A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers”. (John 4:23 AMP) God is seeking dedicated men and women to bless prosperously on earth. Dedication involves genuine service and worship to God and humanity.

A sickness free life

There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems.
