The High Praises of God in Our Mouth: Prayer of Praise and Thanksgiving – Day 15

In this season of the global crisis where it seems the enemy is unleashed in all the nations of the earth, this is the time for Christians all over the world to engage in praise.

EXHORTATION

Psa 8:1-2: O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger

Mat 21:16  And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Psa 149:5-9: Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD

Jesus replaced the word strength used in Ps 8 with the word Praise in Matt 21:16. In other words, Praise is strength. Praise on the lips of the believer is a tool that God uses to still or silence the enemy and the avenger. In this season of the global crisis where it seems the enemy is unleashed in all the nations of the earth, this is the time for Christians all over the world to engage in praise.

Ps 149:6 buttresses this point; with the high praise of God in the mouth of the believer, He is able to execute vengeance and bind kings with chains. Through Praise, the kings are bound with chains and nobles are bound with fetters of iron. The corona virus is presenting as a king and a noble in all the earth; our praise will effectively hold it down and paralyse the plague.

In 2 Chron 20, when Jehoshaphat faced an army that was stronger than him, he engaged the whole nation in praise. The result?2Ch 20:22  And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

As they began to praise the Lord, the Lord Himself sent ambushments against their enemies.

Your praise to God in this season will silence the enemy in your life. You will give praise to God in other tongues and in the understanding. It’s not a time to complain, murmur or to panic but rather to Praise the Lord.

When you give thanks to God in other tongues, you do it well. Your praise magnifies and honors the Lord and He will arise and fight the battle for you.

PRAISE BRINGS THE PRESENCE OF GOD TO OUR SITUATIONS.

Psalm 22:3 (Amp): But You are holy, O You who are enthroned in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered].

PRAYERS:  PRAYER OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO GOD

Say the words of this prayer out loud and then proceed to give God thanks in other tongues and in your understanding. You can also sing in the spirit and in your understanding as you praise the Lord.

I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Every day I will praise You and extol Your name forever and ever.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.

One generation commends Your works to another; they tell of Your mighty acts.
They speak of the glorious splendor of Your majesty—and I will meditate on Your wonderful works.

They tell of the power of Your awesome works — and I will proclaim Your great deeds.
They celebrate Your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of Your righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all he has made.

All Your works praise You, Lord; your faithful people extol You.
They tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,
So that all people may know of Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all He does.

The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food at the proper time.

You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways and faithful in all He does.

The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth
He fulfils the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.

The Lord watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.

My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.
Let every creature praise His holy name for ever and ever.

I magnify the name of the Lord as I begin to give Him thanks in other tongues.

I begin to declare the marvellous works of God as I speak and sing in other tongues and in my understanding.

I offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord and I declare His works with rejoicing.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 100: 4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

A sickness free life

There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems.
