Spiritual forces are real and they control people’s lives and destinies. The good news is that people can be delivered. For this to happen, you must realize that there is a problem and then you will have to apply deliverance. The ultimate form of deliverance is self-deliverance.
After everything must have been done, you have to pray for yourself. You stand on the authority of God’s word and command them and they will obey you because Jesus has set you free. They will only obey you not because of you or your prayers, but because of what Jesus accomplished.
In each of our lives, we have challenges and situations which we just know are wrong. Somehow, you would just have the presence of mind to know that something is not quite right, but because you do not know what to do about it you would continue to live with it. You continue to manage the situation and cover up with some nice clothes or fancy titles as if that would set you free from your afflictions.
To cast out devils is the New Testament Ministry and it is this ministry that can help people in the long run. There was a time God told me that He would not do for me what He expects me to do for myself. God is not in the business of pampering you and covering you up from shame so as to make you feel cozy. He will tell you to work for yourself and grow up. If you will not grow up, you will have yourself to blame.
Jesus has bought and paid for our deliverance so we can have authority over the forces of darkness. Whether you got born again two days ago or several years ago, the power and the authority is in the name of Jesus. We overcome them by the blood of Jesus and by the power in the name of Jesus. You must learn the ropes of deliverance for yourself and for the sake of your family.
