I Will Surely Visit You, Says the Lord – Day 27

When God visits you, promises and prophesies come into manifestation, destiny fulfilled and tangible results are seen.

EXHORTATION

GEN 50: 24-25 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.

Joseph saw into the plan of God and spoke about an event that was going to come to pass in the future. He was so certain about this that he made his brothers swear to carry his bones with them out of Egypt into the land of promise.

Today, God is speaking to each one of us in the body of Christ, I will surely visit you. Just like Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain, so also, I hear the sound of God’s visitation upon His church, individually and corporately.

Ps 65: 9-10 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

When God visits, He intervenes in the affairs of man to bring about a drastic turnaround in man’s situation. Divine visitation can turn a wilderness or barren land to become a fruitful place. When God visits you, promises and prophesies come into manifestation, destiny fulfilled and tangible results are seen. Divine visitation is the answer to every form of frustration and stagnation in life.

A time of divine visitation is the period when your expectations are delivered to you in the presence of God. When God visits a man, everything about his life turns for good.

What happens when God Visits?

  • He brings fruitfulness, Gen. 21:1-2, 1 Sam. 2:21.
  • Deliverance, Exo. 3:15-17, 4:31.
  • Differs manifestations of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:19-21, Is. 29:6.
  • Supernatural provision, Ruth 1:6.
  • Judgment – He judges your enemies and bless you, Num. 16:29
  • He sends His servants a word of promise, Lk. 7:16, Zech.10:3.
  • Restoration Jer 27:22
  • God’s people’s life begins to preach the good news. You will have testimonies, Is. 2:2.

What to do when it is time for Gods visitation is to pray.

Zech 10:1 Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

When it’s time for rain, ask God for rain. When it’s time for God to visit us, ask God for it. When God spoke to Elijah that it was going to rain after three and half years of drought…

Elijah didn’t stay at home watching TV while waiting for the promise to be fulfilled. He went on top of Mount Carmel and prayed earnestly and fervently until heaven gave rain and the earth brought forth her fruit.

1 Kings 18:1-2; 41-42: After a long time, in the third year, the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.” So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab……And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.

Yes, we are excited that God has promised to visit us but we will call upon Him to make good His promise. Lord, visit me just as you promised.

We will remind God of His promise to visit us. He promised to visit in the last days, the shaking in all the nations of the earth is a result of God’s visitation. However, when God visits, He brings judgment upon the wicked but upon the righteous; He brings blessing. Ps 65:9-10

Ask for rain in the time of rain. This is the time of rain, let’s ask God for rain!

The way to position yourself for the rain is by praying for it, when we turn to God, seeking Him in prayer, we will experience times of refreshing from His presence.

Song: This Is A Move (Tasha Cobbs Leonard)

PRAYER FOR DIVINE VISITATION

Say the words of this prayer and then proceed to pray in other tongues and in your understanding asking God for His visitation:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promise to visit me
I believe Your word and hold fast to the promise You have given me

I know this is the time for rain
Therefore, I ask You for rain in this season of rain
Cause the bright clouds to appear and bring showers of rain upon my life and every aspect of my life in Jesus’ name

Lord, visit me just as You have promised
Visit me with your river which is full of water

Visit me and bring every word You have spoken concerning me to pass in Jesus’ name

As I pray in other tongues, I position myself for God’s visitation

As the year comes to an end, He crowns it with His goodness
And my paths drop fatness in Jesus name.

Thank you, Lord, for visiting me today in Jesus’ name

VERSE OF THE DAY: Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people.

A sickness free life

There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems.
