FRIDAY 6^TH JULY, 2012

PRAYER TOPIC: NATION

1 Tim 2:1-3; 2Chron 7:13-14; Is 60:18; Ez 34:25-27; Is 45:8 NLT; Is 54:12 NLT; 2Sam 23:3-4; Ps 103:18; Dan 4:17; Judges 3; 1 Sam 7

1.   THANKSGIVING/ INTERCESSIONS

1 Tim 2:1-3: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

• Give thanks to God for every citizen of this country, for all our leaders, for the president and for every believer in Nigeria.
• Make supplications, prayers and intercessions for all men and for those in authority by yielding to the Holy Spirit and praying in other tongues as He helps us to pray aright! Rom 8:26-27: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought : but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

2.   PRAYERS FOR THE HEALING OF OUR LAND

2 Chron 7:13-14: If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

• Pray for the healing of our nation. Whenever there is famine, destruction and pestilence in the land, if we call upon the Lord, He will hear from heaven and heal us. Healing brings restoration, deliverance from the pestilence and prosperity.

3. JUDGMENT ON THE OPPRESSORS/SPIRITUAL WARFARE

• Ps 103:6: The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. Pray for Gods judgement upon every oppressor of this nation. We demand that they will not be found anymore….Ex 14:13-14:And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.  Pray that the Lord will stretch forth His hand upon this land and judge every power behind terrorism and violence.  Zeph 3:19: And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and renown to my former exiles, who have been mocked and shamed.(NLT) check KJV
• Resist the enemy and bind him, forbid his operation hitherto in this nation. Frustrate the tokens of the liars, destroy every yoke of bondage/oppression upon the necks of the people. James 4:7:Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
• Pray against terrorism in Nigeria; curse the spirit behind such evil from the roots. Declare an end to bomb explosions in this country and curse the spirit behind religious crisis. Declare peace! Matt 15:13: But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Jer 1:9-10: Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
• Decree peace and safety within our borders. We allow/permit peace in our land. Is 60:18…..Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; Refuse every form of violence in the land in form of religious or political crisis!
• Proclaim that righteousness will be found within our borders, and that the nation will be exalted. Isa 45:8: Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.(NLT)

4. PEACE AND PROSPERITY

• Pray for peace, safety and prosperity in Nigeria. Pray that the Lord will make a covenant of peace with this nation bringing safety, prosperity and deliverance from our oppressors. Ezekiel 34: 25-27: And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

5. GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA/LEADERSHIP

• Pray for righteousness to reign in Nigeria, for a government that is just and fair. Pray for the fear of God in the heart of every citizen of Nigeria. Decree peace in every nook and cranny of this land. Confess the word over our land, we shall live in peace and terror will not come near in Jesus’ name! Is 54:13: I will teach all your citizens, and their prosperity will be great. You will live under a government that is just and fair. Your enemies will stay far away; you will live in peace. Terror will not come near. (NLT)
• Pray that our leaders will be just and rule us in the fear of the Lord, giving direction and bring hope to the people. 2 Sam 23:3-4: The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain. Lord, let our leaders be as the light of the morning, giving us hope and direction.
• Pray for and commit our leaders to God that they will be useful instruments in His hand to bring His will to pass in our land. Commit the plans of government to remove the oil subsidy into Gods hands, pray that God will give them wisdom to make the right decision that will move the nation forward. Prov 21:1: The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
• We decree that God rules in Nigeria, this land and all its fullness belong to Jehovah and He alone rules and directs the affairs of our land! Ps 103:19: The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

Dan 4:17….to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. Ps 24:1: The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof ; the world, and they that dwell therein.

6. CHURCH/HARVEST OF SOULS

• Pray for the word of God to be effective in the church of God that Gods word will grow and prevail. 2 Thess 3:1:  Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: pray that the word will run freely. Acts 19:20: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
• Pray for salvation of souls all across the nation. Pray that the Lord will pour out his Spirit on all flesh ushering in a great harvest of souls into the kingdom. (Ps 2:8; Joel 2:28). Ask God for a harvest of souls all over the country; pray that all over the land, men shall begin to call upon the name of the Lord.
• Pray in particular for Islamic leaders, those in the occult, etc that God will touch their hearts like He did for Paul on his way to Damascus who later became Saul and was used mightily of God to reach the gentiles with the gospel.
• Pray that the veil covering the minds of sinners in Nigeria be removed. Resist the strong man over Nigeria and insist that the captives will go free. (Matt 12:29)
• Pray that the gospel will reach every nook and cranny of the nation. Pray the gospel will be preached unhindered in the land. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send labourers into the every part of our land such that the knowledge of the Lord will fill the land as the waters cover the sea.(Luke 10:2;Isaiah 11:9)
• Members to pray that the land of Nigeria will produce for them, that they will prosper and be fruitful in this country. (Is. 1:19; Gen 26:12-15).

SATURDAY 7^TH JULY, 2012

PRAYER TOPIC: BODY OF CHRIST IN NIGERIA

TEXT: Rom 12:5: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 1 Cor 12:26-27: And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1.   THANKSGIVING

Give thanks for every believer in this country. Be thankful for everyone who has received Jesus Christ as Lord, we are all brothers and sisters, members of the same body. In spite of our differences, we are one. Lord, we are thankful for our brothers and sisters all over this country. Let’s give thanks to God for drawing men and women all over this land unto Himself! (John 6:44: No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.)

Eph 1:15-16: Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

Col 1:2-3: To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

1 Thess 1:2: We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

2 Thess 2:13: But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2.   SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND MATURITY

Use the following scriptures to pray for every member of the body of Christ in Nigeria,    for spiritual growth and understanding of the word. Pray that our eyes be open so that            we will not walk in the dark or be blinded to spiritual things. Pray that the body of       believers in Nigeria will grow and mature unto Christ likeness!

• Revelation Knowledge

Eph 1:16-19: Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

Col 1:9-11: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.

Eph 5:14-17: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

• Spiritual Strength

Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Isa 52:1: Awake, awake; put on thy strength , O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

• Abounding in Love

Phil 1:9-11: And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love maydisplay itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment], So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value [recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences], and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless [so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach] the day of Christ [not stumbling nor causing others to stumble].May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of Godthat His glory may be both manifested and recognized. 3.   LEADERSHIP OF THE CHURCH

Eph 4:11-13: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:  THIS GIVES A SUMMARY OF THE WORK OF CHURCH LEADERSHIP!

• Jer 3:15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Pray for all our church leaders that the Lord will teach them His ways so that they can adequately feed the people with sound knowledge and instruction. Ecc 9:8: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Pray that they will not lack the required grace, that the Lord will anoint them with fresh oil for the work. Prov 24:3: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom so that they will build the people and cause them to be established firmly in the word.

• Pray that none of our ministers will lack focus and direction…they will be sensitive to hear and to know what God is saying. Isa 30:21: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way , walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Pray for an understanding of the times and seasons so that they will know which way to go. 1 Chron 12:32: And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times , to know what Israel ought to do;
• 1Chron 16:21-22: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Pray for divine protection, they will be far from oppression and from terror. Pray for God’s blessing upon them and their families. Heb 6:10
• Pray for the grace to give themselves solely to the ministry of the word and to prayers… Acts 6:4….But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word….
• Pray that the leadership of the church will be united and walk in love towards one another. 1 Cor 1:10 :Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  Ps 133: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. We desire unity so that the power of God will flow among us!

4.   REVIVAL/OUTPOURING OF GODS SPIRIT UPON THE CHURCH

• Joel 2:28-29: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. Pray for a revival in the church; for an outpouring of His Spirit bringing a refreshing and bringing people closer to God. Zech 10:1: Ask the Lord for rain in the spring and he will give it. It is the Lord who makes storm clouds that drop showers of rain so that every field becomes a lush pasture. (NLT). Pray that there will be a quickening and a re- awakening of the church, let Gods Spirit breathe upon us afresh so that we will awake from slumber and be about our Fathers business, so that the church will glorify God and not bring shame to the name of God.
• Pray that God will heal the church of backsliding and restore us. Hos 14:4-8: I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. Resist lukewarmness, deception and carnality in the church.
• Come against the spirit of the age which causes lukewarmness, pride, self centeredness, sexual immorality, religiosity, etc. 2Tim3:1-5

SUNDAY 8^TH JULY, 2012

PRAYER TOPIC: WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES – LEADERSHIP

1. Resident Pastors

Pray for every resident pastor in every Stone Church branch worldwide.

• Pray for them that they will be good stewards of the grace of God; they will not take the grace of God in vain. Pray that they will speak as the oracles of God and minister with Gods own ability/anointing.

1 Peter 4:10-11: As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak , let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

• Mark 16:20: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Pray that as they teach Gods word, the Lord will confirm His word with signs, miracles, healings, deliverance, salvation, etc….

 2.  PRAYERS FOR THE SENIOR PASTOR

• Pray for strength in his spirit, soul and body that he will be strong to carry out the mandate that God has given him. 1Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Pray for open heavens over his ministry, for more revelation of God’s word, the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, more grace and anointing over his life for more effectiveness in the work committed into his hands.
•  Pray that the Lord will enlighten his darkness, for wisdom that comes from God and for understanding to make Godly decisions concerning the ministry. Ps 18:28-29: For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
• Pray against every plan of Satan against him and his family members.

Ps 89: 20-22: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Is54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

• Commit him to the hands of the Lord, cover him in the blood of Jesus, prophesy over his life that the enemy will not prevail against him; he will be strong to finish his race well.
• Pray for Him that the word that he teaches will run freely and be effective in the lives of them that hear him. Pray also that the Lord will deliver him from wicked men.

2 Thess 3:1-2: Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

3. UNITY OF SPIRIT

Pray that the committee of Pastors of the Word Alive Ministries will be united in spirit and in purpose. Pray that they will be committed to and run with the vision that God has given to us as a ministry.

1 Cor 1:10:  Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Ps 133: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Eph 4:3: Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4. Resist Satan and his agents 1Cor 10:3-5

• Destroy every plan of Satan against the leadership of the church. Frustrate every move to bring strife and disharmony among the leadership.

 Is 44:25; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers;

• Pray that God will turn every counsel of evil against them to be turned to foolishness.

2 Sam 15:31: And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

MONDAY 9^TH JULY, 2012.

PRAYER TOPIC: MISSION STATEMENT OF WAM – MEMBERSHIP

NOTE: God has given us a vision as a ministry; this vision is the reason for the existence of this ministry! Let’s look up to God to help us to fulfill this mission. The mission statement is fivefold, we would pray concerning each aspect of the mission statement.

Mission statement: We bring people into MEMBERSHIP in God’s family, We bring them to MATURITY in Christ-likeness, We equip them for MINISTRY, We send them out for MISSIONS to the world, In order to MAGNIFY Gods name.

Lord, this is the vision you have given us as a church, help us to birth this vision, let the vision speak for us. Help us as a ministry to fulfil our God-given mandate, to step into our destiny, to fulfil purpose! Hab 2:3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

MEMBERSHIP

1. HARVEST OF SOULS

Matt 9:38: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

God has a harvest….pray that He will send us in WAM all over the world as labourers into His harvest!

Ps 2:8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Pray and ask God to give us souls in this ministry. Pray that we will have a great harvest of souls in all our churches worldwide. Our churches will be effective in winning souls and bringing people into membership in Gods family.

1 Cor 3:6-7: I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Pray for increase as we reach out to labour for souls through various outreach efforts.

2. INTERCESSION/TRAVAIL FOR THE LOST

Isa 66:8: Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. A nation is born through travail! Lets travail for souls to be won into Gods kingdom all over the world, praying specifically that God will use this ministry to harvest these souls into His kingdom.

2 Cor 4:3-4: But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Pray for unbelievers especially in the places we are located, remove the veil covering their minds and command the light of the gospel to shine upon their hearts. The gospel will be revealed to them clearly and they shall not be in the dark anymore.

Isa 6:10: Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Lord, open their eyes and their understanding so they may see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and be converted.

3. SPIRITUAL CHILDREN/NUMERICAL INCREASE

Deut. 33:24: And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. Let the WAM worldwide be blessed with childen.

Deut. 7:14: Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. None of our churches or members will be barren; pray that the Lord will open our wombs and give us spiritual children. Isa 43:5-6: Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south , Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Let our seed gather from the east and the west; command the north and the south to give up our sons and daughters. Our sons and daughters gather from all parts of the world. we command the nations to give up our spiritual children in Jesus’ name.

Acts 5:14: And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Pray that believers will be added to the Lord through this ministry….multitudes!

Isa 54:1-3: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.  Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. The WAM breaks forth into singing as we begin to bring forth many children into Gods family. We increase numerically and break forth to the right and to the left.

Acts 2:47: Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Pray that God will add to us daily!

PRAYER TOPIC: MISSION STATEMENT OF WAM – MATURITY/MINISTRY

MATURITY IN CHRIST LIKENESS

1. SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND MATURITY

Pray that our members will develop and attain unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that every day we will grow spiritually and be more like Him.

Eph 4:13-14: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Use the following scriptures to pray for every member of our church, for spiritual growth and understanding of the word. Pray that our eyes be open so that we will not walk in the dark or be blinded to spiritual things. Pray that we grow and mature unto Christ likeness!

• Revelation Knowledge

Eph 1:16-19: Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

Col 1:9-11: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.

Eph 5:14-17: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

• Spiritual Strength

Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Isa 52:1: Awake, awake; put on thy strength , O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

• Abounding in Love

Phil 1:9-11: And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love maydisplay itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment], So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value [recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences], and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless [so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach] the day of Christ [not stumbling nor causing others to stumble]. May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of God that His glory may be both manifested and recognized.  2. YOUNG BELIEVERS

Pray for all our spiritual children, those who are still spiritual babes in the Lord that they will mature and grow into Christ likeness. Use the following scriptures to pray:

1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes , desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Gal 4:19: My little children , of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

1 John 5:21:  Little children , keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Col 4:12: Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Isa 54:13: And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

MINISTRY…………………..We equip them for ministry.

1. Pray that all our members will be equipped for the work of the ministry and that each mans ministry will be effective and bring blessing to the church of God. Pray that every member of WAM will use their gifts effectively, that none of us will be unprofitable servants who bury their talents. As each part supplies, the body of Christ will increase. Eph 4:16: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Pray that our members will be like the house of Stephanas, who addicted themselves to the work of the ministry.

1 Cor 16:15: I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

Col 4:17: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. Pray that we will all take heed to the ministry we have received in the Lord so that we will fulfill it.

Rom 12:11: Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Pray that our members will function effectively in their various offices/ministries, according to the grace given to each one!

Rom 12:4-8: For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry , let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

 1.      MISSIONS

Luke 10:1-2: After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Pray that the Lord will give us faithful and committed men and women who we can send out to missions, to establish vibrant churches all over the world. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth labourers into HIS harvest; that we will not lack for men to send forth to missions. . Pray that none of our branches will lack for faithful labourers to serve and do the work willingly and acceptably. Lord, give us men who will help support the work all over the world.

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Pray for doors to open this year for us to be able to establish new churches all over the world, doors for us to preach the gospel and disciple men so as to fulfill the great commission. We desire that through the WAM, we would be able to preach the gospel to every creature.

Pray for increase and expansion of the word on air; that through this medium, we would be able to reach more souls. The word on air broadcast will be more effective and impactful this year in Jesus name.

Pray that through our branches and the word on air broadcast, we would be able to preach the gospel in the regions beyond us. 2 Cor 10:16: To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.

Pray for all our existing branches worldwide for increase and expansion. Pray for every branch of the Stone Church worldwide for relevance in their locality. Pray that multitudes will gather in our churches to hear the word and to be healed. Luke 5:15: But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. Pray that our churches will fulfil our divine mandate in bringing people into membership in Gods family…the Lord will add unto us such as should be saved. Pray for numerical increase in all our churches. Acts 2:47….And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 1:7: And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Pray that the revelation of God’s word will increase in all our branches such that the number of disciples in all our branches will increase.

MAGNIFY

2.      Make WAM a praise in the earth

1 Peter 2:9: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Pray that WAM will be a praise in the earth and thus glorify Gods name. We shall not bring shame to the name of the Lord.

Josh 3:7: And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.

Jer 30:19:  And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

PRAYER: Lord, magnify yourself in our midst, let your presence be manifest in and through us, so that we will not be small as you magnify us before the world and men see your glory in us! Multiply us and we shall not be few, glorify us and we shall not be small.

2. Demonstration of Gods power

Pray for signs and wonders among us that will cause the name of the Lord to be magnified among us. Pray that God will work miracles among us such that will bring glory to His name.

Acts 19:17: And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified .

Mark 2:12: And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed , and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

3. The glory of God in WAM

2 Thess 1:11-12: Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thess 3:1: Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Pray that God will take His place in our churches and be glorified. Pray that Gods word will run freely among us. Lord, let your will be done in our midst, let Jesus be glorified in all we do. Pray that the Lord will fufill all His good pleasure in and through us in WAM

4. Pray that through WAM, multitudes will be drawn to God, that the Lord will establish all our churches as His holy mountain so that many will seek and find God through us. Let the word of God increase in the land so that many hearts will begin to seek the Lord. Pray that the Lord will use our churches and our individual lives to draw men unto Himself.

Isa 11:9-10: They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain : for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Zech 8:20-23: Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:  And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Isa 2:2-3: And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isa 25:6: And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

PRAYER TOPIC: THE STONE CHURCH

Note: Each church to pray for their local assembly.

1.  THANKSGIVING

Psalm 145:8-10: The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

• Give thanks to God for every member of this local assembly. For His love and faithfulness over the life of every member. Praise Him for His protection over our lives.
• Thank Him for good health, peace, prosperity, for every good gift He has given to us. James 1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning
• Thank Him for the revelation of His word in our individual lives
• 1 Chron 16:34: O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

2.         THE GLORY OF GOD IN OUR LIVES

Pray for God to be glorified in the life of every member of this church. Pray that the Lord will take His place in our lives and that His light will shine upon us. Pray that the Lord will glorify us so that we will multiply and increase in every area of our lives, His glory removes every reproach, takes away every shame in our lives! Jer 30:18-20:Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. Is 54:4: Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

3. THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

• Pray for the blessing of God in our families; pray that there will be peace and unity in our homes. Pray also that there will be love and unity among and between us in the church, we resist disharmony and confusion among us, our members will be in one accord. Pray for the spirit of unity so that we can enjoy the blessing of the Lord in our homes and in the church. The Lord will command His blessing upon our families and upon our church as we dwell together in unity. Psalm 133:1-3: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

• Pray for increase and prosperity upon our families and our church. Pray that we will enter into our season of harvest in the remaining days of the year, its time to reap the harvest God promised us. Pray for Gods blessings like wine pouring off the mountains, blessing and increase on every side…none shall be barren among us.  Amos 9: 13-15(TMB): “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel: “They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.” God, your God, says so.
• Pray for a release of the blessing of the Lord especially as we enter into a new season, that as a church and as individuals, we will experience Gods best in every area of our life. Let the glory of the latter house be greater than the former! Lord, crown this year 2012 with thy goodness and water us abundantly. Psalm 65:9-12: Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

• Pray for everyone who pays their tithes and give their offerings to this church that they will enjoy great increase, for open heavens and a release of the rain upon their ground so that they will experience a bountiful harvest. Pray also that God will rebuke the devourer for our sakes…no locust shall eat out of our harvest! Mal 3: 10-12: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
• Pray for restoration and wholeness for every member of our church, we will eat and be satisfied! Joel 2:25-26: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

4.         FINANCIAL INCREASE/ABUNDANCE

• Pray that wealth will come into the hands of the members of this church. Zech 8:12: For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. Deut 33:23: And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour , and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.
• Pray for the blessing of the Lord upon the work of our hands that will take us to a place of abundance. Deut 11:14-15: That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. Is 45:2-3: I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. Deut 33:7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

• HEALING AND HEALTH

Pray that we will walk in divine health, nothing missing, nothing broken! Peace in our physical bodies so that we can serve the Lord and strength to work with our hands. Exodus 23: 25-26: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

• Pray for the healing of our members who have terminal illnesses or persistent sicknesses. Pray that the Lord will raise them up from the bed of affliction. James 5:15: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

• Rebuke the spirit of infirmity ravaging the bodies of those who are sick, destroy the hold of every Satanic spirit operating on their bodies.
• Pray for restoration to good health, let everything that was lost because of these sicknesses be restored (time, money, family,etc)
• Pray that every reproach in their lives as a result of the sickness be exchanged for Gods glory.

5.   REVIVAL OF THE SPIRIT

• Commit the Church programmes for the rest of this year unto God, ask that He will visit us and bless us greatly. Jer 32:15-18: Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
• Pray that our members will burn with zeal for the Lord. Stand against lukewarmness and the spirit of the age. Isa 59:17: For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. 2 Cor 9:2…. and your zeal hath provoked very many.
• Joel 2:23-32: Pray for a revival in our church; for an outpouring of His Spirit bringing a refreshing and bringing people closer to God. Zech 10:1: Ask the Lord for rain in the spring and he will give it. It is the Lord who makes storm clouds that drop showers of rain so that every field becomes a lush pasture. (NLT). Pray that all our members will grow and mature in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus, that every field brings forth good fruit.
• Pray for every member to return to the Lord with all their hearts as a result of the revival. Draw our hearts closer to yourself, O Lord such that every man will know the Lord. We pray for everyone to have a personal and intimate knowledge of the Lord. Jer 24:6-7: For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. And I will give them an heart to know me , that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Heb 8:11: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me , from the least to the greatest.
