One of the greatest challenges of Christians is the fact that we are not careful with what we say. Nowadays, people are flippant with their mouths. Be conscious of what you say and desist from saying things that are contrary to the word of God.
Jesus said to a man, “…go and tell them what the Lord has done for you.” That is what you should be telling people – your testimony. Go and tell your victorious story. The Bible says, “…the man went about and published it throughout the whole city.” Tell the people what the Lord has done.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 3:10-11, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.” Don’t speak unbelief and don’t speak evil! Speak the word!
Many times, you need to stop saying what your father, family, friends and Nigerians are saying. Speak God’s Word! I once met a Nigerian who has been in the USA for several years and so was full of stories. One of his stories was that Nigeria was a hopeless country, but I disagreed with him.
I informed the person that I live in Nigeria and that one of the reasons I lived in Nigeria was that I believe Nigeria is the only place on earth where anything was possible. The promises of God would come to pass in Nigeria. Negative words would only make doubts rise up like a giant.

What you say is what you are going to get. What you say is what you think, and what you think is what is going to happen to you. Why don’t you begin to pull down all the strongholds that constrain you? I am who God says that I am. God says I can, so I can. You should feed and think on God’s word.
Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
