Saved from street life

I testify to the glory of God for all He has done for me. He saved me and made me whole again. My upbringing as a child was terrible. The place my family stayed in Ilorin did not help matters as I later joined a notorious gang within my area. I continued with my wayward lifestyle till the age of 18 when I had to relocate to Ibadan. When I got to Ibadan, I found another gang who helped to up my game in the business of thuggery. Soon enough, my father sent a message to me that I should start going to church.  I joined a church nearby. For a while I was consistent in the church and my cousin later frustrated me out of her house. I had no choice but to go back to those bad boys that I had as friends. My state was now worse off than it appeared at first. At some point, I came to my senses and I thought that there is no way I will do well in life if I continue like this. I remember that my cousin once recommended The Stone Church to me and I decided to visit the church. I couldn’t help but weep when I heard the word of God for the first time that I came. That day, I gave my life to Christ at the end of the sermon and God filled my heart with His peace and joy. God gave me a brand-new start in spite of my past. Now, I am a married man and God has been so gracious to me and my family. – Bro E

A sickness free life

There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems.

Look unto Jesus

There is always the tendency for us to get distracted in life. Our eyes will go off course when we are distracted and we lose focus. The Christian life is a walk with Jesus as our focus but the cares of this life and deceitfulness of riches makes us take our eyes off Jesus. We
