Enemies create doubts, fears and uncertainties as a means to move out of The Secret Place. So what do you do? You stand! To keep standing, you must not entertain doubts. You must get the word of God that promises you that thing in sufficient quantity that it will drive out the doubts from your mind. Starve your doubts and feed your faith.

The most important part of your life is your soul. Do not allow anybody inside your soul. That is why we say that do not view some programmes or movies on the television set. Watching pornography allows evil into your soul. What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? (Matthew 16:26).

What you read or what you watch on television and internet – all of these are gaining access into your soul. You must make sure your soul is kept as a sanctum. Guard it and feed your mind with God’s word. For you to stand, you need to be still in your heart. “Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth (Psalm 46:10).

You must be patient for you to be standing. You must patiently endure as a soldier. “For we all have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise” Hebrews 10:36. After you have done the will of God, you have need of patience. After you have prayed and believed God, you still need patience.

Abraham received the promise because he was not just a man of faith, he was also a man of patience. If you say you are patient but you always say the wrong things, then you are not standing. You should say what God has said. The promises of God will never fail you. Stand! Stand in faith concerning all His promises to you because He will never fail you.
