The Meal That Heals
Our God is merciful! He is disposed to show us mercy. He is inclined to heal and cleanse us from all our diseases. God also has ordained us to bring healing by the word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to relationships, homes, businesses and all that pertains to life and well-being.
Knowledge takes you far, but understanding takes you further; far beyond knowledge can. Revelation brings to you the depth, breadth and length of God’s word. It opens your eyes to the deep things of God. Therefore, it is necessary to have a clear understanding and deep revelation of this subject: The Holy Communion, vis-à-vis its healing impact in our lives. The Holy Communion is a meal; and you know, what goes into a man determines the life that is in him.
1 Cor 2:4-7 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
So that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
But, we speak wisdom among those who are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, that come to nothing.
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, which God has hidden, predetermining it before the world for our glory.
Two things are important in the healing process:
- The healing power of God must be available.
- Faith in the power must be available.
The power of God is not only sufficient for healing, but you must believe in the healing power also. Your faith and belief must be richly in the power of God. Faith is reasonable; it makes spiritual sense to receive a miracle. God can only work in your life through faith. So, you need to understand how faith works. The Holy Communion can change your life; it is a meal capable of healing you. He instituted the communion in the church to be a usual continuous practice. Through this meal you can be reached by the healing power and be healed. The Holy Communion has a healing virtue.
Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought forth bread and wine. And he was the priest of the Most High God.
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of Heaven and earth.
And blessed be the Most High God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people and take the goods for yourself.
And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to Jehovah, the most high God, the possessor of Heaven and earth.
That I will take from all that is yours, not from a thread even to a shoestring, lest you say, I have made Abram rich.
Nothing for me, only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
Melchizedek, a type of Christ, brought the communion to Abram. This communion was a life changing experience for him. It was beyond a physical food. It was a spiritual food that gave strength, health and life to Abraham. After this communion, Abram became Abraham of God. Communion can change your life. Exo 12:7-11, Ps 105:37. Communion has been a practice right from the Old Testament. Communion is a meal of life and prosperity. It guarantees good health and prosperity.
God is interested in your health. The most important thing in your life is your health. Without it, you don’t have anything. God is your healer and your family doctor. One of His covenant names is Jehovah Rapha: the God that healeth thee.
Exo 15:26 And he said, If you will carefully listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His Laws, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am Jehovah who heals you.
The tongue is the gateway to life and death: what you say or what you eat will affect your spirit. The belly signifies the human spirit. What goes in and out of it can either give you life or destruction.
Pro 18:20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; he shall be satisfied with the product of his lips.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat the fruit of it.
Communion is a spiritual practice and sometimes beyond the human understanding. Communion (the flesh and blood of Christ) is a mystery; just believe it as instructed by Christ and it will work for you. Jesus said if there is sickness in your body, just eat His flesh and drink His blood, then you shall be whole. Communion is not a religious rite to be done alone in the synagogue. You can have the communion with your family, friends, neighbours, or in your house cell, but it has to be done with understanding and in faith. The communion is a medium through which God can heal us. John 6:47-58, Matt 26:26-28, Luke 24:30.
SPIRITUAL TRANSMUTATION
Transmutation is a process of change of state wherein an object changes state from one realm to another. In physics, latent heat changes an object from one state to another, for instance, liquid to gas, or a solid object to liquid. In the spirit, what changes mental or physical things to spiritual things and vice versa is called transmutation. This change from one realm to another is enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit. When you take the Holy Communion, it can transmute the bread and wine into spiritual energy and you can be healed and restored.
BENEFITS OF THE HOLY COMMUNION
- A complete atonement is reignited. This is a total well-being in your spirit, soul and body because your sins and sicknesses have been atoned for.
- Spiritual protection. The Holy Communion is a way you can counter the demonic food you are given in your dreams. John 6:54, Psalms 91:1.
- Spiritual provision.
- Supernatural revelation. Luke 24:30-31.
- Supernatural healing. Psalms 89:34.
CONCLUSION
The Holy Communion is a spiritual covenant. Every time you take it you reignite the covenant. God does not break covenant. He has a covenant of healing with you. He has not forgotten it and will never break it!
Psa 106:45 and He remembered His covenant for them, and was moved to pity, according to the multitude of His mercies.
God bless you.
