Mold Me Oh Lord, Prayer for Transformation – Day 3

The process of transformation is similar to metamorphosis where the egg transforms into the adult butterfly through a series of changes that are mainly internal and later become external.

EXHORTATION:

Jer 18:5-6 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

The Christian life is a life of constant change. God is at work in our lives, molding and shaping us just as a potter takes a lump of clay and turns it into a piece of art. And, just as the potter needs to have clay that is soft and malleable, we need to be yielded to the changes that God wants to make in our lives trusting that He knows what’s best for us.

The goal for every Christ-follower is to be like Jesus. Our actions, words, even attitudes and motivations are to increasingly become more and more like the One we love. This transformation is a process. It takes a lot of time and a lot of grace.

The Apostle Paul described it this way in 2 Cor 3:18, “(We) are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

The word transformation means a major change in form, nature or function; a change in character or condition. Synonyms are convert, metamorphose, transfigure and transmute.

So, your prayer today is, “Lord, I want to be like clay in Your hands. I trust You to do whatever You need to do to make me more like Jesus. Convert me into what You want Lord, that my life may bring You pleasure.

The process of transformation is similar to metamorphosis where the egg transforms into the adult butterfly through a series of changes that are mainly internal and later become external. When the egg is changing to the larva, it’s an internal work which then shows externally with time.

That’s the work of the Holy Spirit in You and He is able to do this internal work of transformation as you come into His presence in the place of prayer.

Jesus was transfigured in the place of prayer. His countenance changed as He prayed. As you call upon the Lord, you can also undergo a process of transformation as you are being shaped and molded into the image of Jesus.

DAY 3 PRAYER FOCUS: PRAYER FOR TRANSFORMATION

Make the prayer below in your understanding and then proceed to pray in other tongues:

My dear heavenly Father, I am clay in your hands and You are the potter
Mold me and shape me into what pleases You Lord
I want to reflect the image of Jesus in my thoughts and actions

So, Lord, I ask that You will mold me so that my life will be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ
My desire is that Christ will be seen more in me than self
That the life of Christ in me will be seen through me
That Jesus will grow more prominent in me while I grow less important

Holy Spirit, work in me and change me more and more as I stay in the presence of God
Change me Oh Lord, transform me with ever-increasing glory
As I continue to pray in the understanding and in other tongues

I surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit as He works in me changing my inner self to reflect the glory of Jesus in me
I surrender Lord, mold me and change me
I trust You to do whatever You need to do to make me more like Jesus.
Convert me into what You want Lord, that my life may bring You pleasure.
In Jesus name I pray.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them

A sickness free life

There is a revelation in Romans 8:11 that God used to liberate me from the grip of sickness. The drug that was given to me during the time of my sickness has the tendency to go to the wrong places, leaving the places with problems, and it will go on to the places without problems.
