FRIDAY 4^TH JANUARY, 2012.

PRAYER TOPIC: NATION

1. THANKSGIVING

1 Tim 2:1-3: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

• Give thanks to God for every citizen of this country, for all our leaders, for the president and for every believer in Nigeria. Declare that the Lord is God over our lives and over this nation; He made this nation and every citizen for a purpose. Let’s give thanks for Gods purpose for this country and confess His Lordship over our land.

 2.      GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA/LEADERSHIP

• Pray for righteousness to reign in Nigeria, for a government that is just and fair. Pray for the fear of God in the heart of every citizen of Nigeria. Decree peace in every nook and cranny of this land. Confess the word over our land, we shall live in peace and terror will not come near in Jesus’ name! Is 54:13: I will teach all your citizens, and their prosperity will be great. You will live under a government that is just and fair. Your enemies will stay far away; you will live in peace. Terror will not come near. (NLT)
• Pray that our leaders will be just and rule us in the fear of the Lord, giving direction and bring hope to the people. 2 Sam 23:3-4: The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain. Lord, let our leaders be as the light of the morning, giving us hope and direction.
• Pray for and commit our leaders to God that they will be useful instruments in His hand to bring His will to pass in our land. Commit the plans of government to remove the oil subsidy into Gods hands, pray that God will give them wisdom to make the right decision that will move the nation forward. Prov 21:1: The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
• We decree that God rules in Nigeria, this land and all its fullness belong to Jehovah and He alone rules and directs the affairs of our land! Ps 103:19: The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

Dan 4:17….to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Ps 24:1: The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof ; the world, and they that dwell therein.

3. JUDGMENT ON THE OPPRESSORS/SPIRITUAL WARFARE

• Ps 103:6: The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. Pray for Gods judgement upon every oppressor of this nation. We demand that they will not be found anymore….Ex 14:13-14:And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.  Pray that the Lord will stretch forth His hand upon this land and judge every power behind terrorism and violence.  Zeph 3:19: And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and renown to my former exiles, who have been mocked and shamed.(NLT) check KJV
• Pronounce judgement upon every leader who will not submit to doing the will of God, those who will not show mercy to the poor just like Gods judgment came on Nebuchadnezzar because he refused to acknowledge God! Dan 4:31-32: While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.  And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

• Resist the enemy and bind him, forbid his operation hitherto in this nation. Frustrate the tokens of the liars, destroy every yoke of bondage/oppression upon the necks of the people. James 4:7:Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
• Pray against terrorism in Nigeria; curse the spirit behind such evil from the roots. Declare an end to bomb explosions in this country and curse the spirit behind religious crisis. Declare peace! Matt 15:13: But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Jer 1:9-10: Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

4. PRAYERS FOR THE HEALING OF OUR LAND

2 Chron 7:13-14: If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

• Pray for the healing of our nation. Whenever there is famine, destruction and pestilence in the land, if we call upon the Lord, He will hear from heaven and heal us. Healing brings restoration, deliverance from the pestilence and prosperity.

2 Kings 2:21-22: And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

We release the power of God to the spring of the waters, the foundations of Nigeria and decree that the Lord has healed our land, therefore there shall henceforth be no more death or barren land in Nigeria!

1.  PEACE AND PROSPERITY

• Pray for peace, safety and prosperity in Nigeria. Pray that the Lord will make a covenant of peace with this nation bringing safety, prosperity and deliverance from our oppressors. Ezekiel 34: 25-27: And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.
• Safety/ security: abort every plan to perpetrate crisis and unrest in the land. Is 60:18…..Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; Refuse every form of violence in the land in form of religious or political crisis!
• Proclaim that righteousness will be found within our borders, and that the nation will be exalted. Isa 45:8: Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.(NLT)

4. OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE GOSPEL TO BE PREACHED

• Pray for the word of God to be effective in the church of God that Gods word will grow and prevail. Pray for the knowledge of the word to fill the land as the waters cover the sea. 2 Thes. 3:1:  Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: Pray that the word will run freely. Acts 19:20: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. Pray that the Lord will open doors for the gospel to reach every nook and cranny of this land.
• Acts 14:27: And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. Pray that the door of faith will be opened to every unbeliever in Nigeria, especially the Muslims, the politicians, the youths, those in high places in the society, etc. pray that the preaching of the gospel will be unhindered in every part of this country.
• Pray for salvation of souls all across the nation. Pray that the Lord will pour out his Spirit on all flesh ushering in a great harvest of souls into the kingdom. (Ps 2:8; Joel 2:28). Ask God for a harvest of souls all over the country; pray that all over the land, men shall begin to call upon the name of the Lord. In the year 2013, we pray that there will be such a massive harvest of souls bringing multitudes to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Members to pray that the land of Nigeria will produce for them, that they will prosper and be fruitful in this country. (Is. 1:19; Gen 26:12-15).

 SATURDAY 5^TH JANUARY, 2013

PRAYER TOPIC: THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA

NOTE: Rom 12:5: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 1 Cor 12:26-27: And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1. THANKSGIVING

Give thanks for every believer in this country. Be thankful for everyone who has received Jesus Christ as Lord, we are all brothers and sisters, members of the same body. In spite of our differences, we are one. Lord, we are thankful for our brothers and sisters all over this country. Eph 1:15-16: Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

Col 1:2-3: To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

1 Thess 1:2: We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

2 Thess 2:13: But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2. LEADERSHIP OF THE CHURCH

• Jer 3:15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Pray for all our church leaders that the Lord will teach them His ways so that they can adequately feed the people with sound knowledge and instruction. Ecc 9:8: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Pray that they will not lack the required grace, that the Lord will anoint them with fresh oil for the work. Prov 24:3: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom so that they will build the people and cause them to be established firmly in the word.
• Pray that none of our ministers will lack focus and direction…they will be sensitive to hear and to know what God is saying. Isa 30:21: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way , walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Pray for an understanding of the times and seasons so that they will know which way to go. 1 Chron 12:32: And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times , to know what Israel ought to do;
• 1Chron 16:21-22: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Pray for divine protection, they will be far from oppression and from terror. Pray for God’s blessing upon them and their families. Heb 6:10
• Pray for the grace to give themselves solely to the ministry of the word and to prayers… Acts 6:4….But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word….Pray also that each one will grow in the grace of God so that they don’t fall from their stedfastness. 2 Peter 3:17-18: Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace , and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
• Pray that the leadership of the church will be united and walk in love towards one another. 1 Cor 1:10 :Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  Ps 133: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. We desire unity so that the power of God will flow among us!

3. SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Stand against Satan and his agents; use the scriptures below to pray:

• Isa 60:14: The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
• Ps 129:4-6: The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
• Isa 54:15: Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
• Is 8:9-10: Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
• Ps 106:9-11: He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
• Zech 2:7-9: Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
• James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
• Decree that the church will experience peace round about in 2013 as we rebule the wind that threatens to destroy us! Mark 4:39: And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

4. OPPRTUNITIES/OPEN DOORS FOR THE GOSPEL TO BE PREACHED

Pray for doors to open up to the gospel in this nation such that every tribe and tongue will be reached with the gospel this year. On the day of Pentecost, many tribes were present and had the opportunity to hear the gospel! Pray in particular for churches who have kept the word of God, that such opportunities will be given them this year, to reach more people.

Rev 3:8: I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door , and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Col 4:3-4: Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Mic 4:1-2: But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

This year shall witness a great harvest of souls in all parts of the country in Jesus name.

5. SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND MATURITY

Use the following scriptures to pray for every member of the body of Christ in Nigeria, for spiritual growth and understanding of the word. Pray that our eyes be open so that we will not walk in the dark or be blinded to spiritual things.

• Eph 1:16-19: Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding

being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

• Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
• Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.
  

6. REVIVAL/OUTPOURING OF GODS SPIRIT UPON THE CHURCH

• Joel 2:28-29: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. Pray for a revival in the church; for an outpouring of His Spirit bringing a refreshing and bringing people closer to God. Pray that the gift of prophecy be revived in the body of Christ. Zech 10:1: Ask the Lord for rain in the spring and he will give it. It is the Lord who makes storm clouds that drop showers of rain so that every field becomes a lush pasture. (NLT). Pray that there will be a quickening and a re- awakening of the church, let Gods Spirit breathe upon us afresh so that we will awake from slumber and be about our Fathers business, so that the church will glorify God and not bring shame to the name of God.
• Pray that God will heal the church of backsliding and restore us. Hos 14:4-8: I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. Resist lukewarmness, deception and carnality in the church. Come against the spirit of the age which causes lukewarmness, pride, self centeredness, sexual immorality, religiosity, etc. 2Tim3:1-5

7. UNITY OF THE SPIRIT

Ps 133:1-3: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Pray for unity among all the believers in this country. Pray that the Lord will open our eyes and give us understanding so that we will walk in love one towards another and walk towards a common goal. We shall not be divided against ourselves.

PERSONAL PRAYER AND CONFESSION: PSALM 91

SUNDAY 6^TH JANUARY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: THE WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

1. PRAYERS FOR THE SENIOR PASTOR

• Pray for strength in his spirit, soul and body that he will be strong to carry out the mandate that God has given him. 1Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for him that he will be strong and of a good courage so as to provide Godly leadership. Josh 1:6-7.
• Pray for open heavens over his ministry, for more revelation of God’s word, the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, more grace and anointing over his life for more effectiveness in the work committed into his hands.
•  Pray that the Lord will enlighten his darkness, for wisdom that comes from God and for understanding to make Godly decisions concerning the ministry. Ps 18:28-29: For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Prov 24:3-5:Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

• Pray against every plan of Satan against him and his family members. Pray that the Lord will put a shield round about him such that the enemy will not be able to move near to afflict him.

Ps 89: 20-22: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Is54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Zech 13:7: Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

• Commit him to the hands of the Lord, cover him in the blood of Jesus, prophesy over his life that the enemy will not prevail against him; he will be strong to finish his race well. Pray that the glory of God will be a shield for him, like a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night to protect him at all times.

2. RESIDENT PASTORS

• Jer 3:15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Pray for all the pastors in all our branches that the Lord will teach them His ways so that they can adequately feed the people with sound knowledge and instruction. Ecc 9:8: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Pray that our pastors will not lack the required grace, that the Lord will anoint them with fresh oil for the work. Prov 24:3: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom so that they will build the people and cause them to be established firmly in the word.

• Mark 16:20: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Pray that as they teach Gods word, the Lord will confirm His word with signs, miracles, healings, deliverance, salvation, etc….
• Pray for God’s blessing upon them and their families. Heb 6:10
  

3. OPPORTUNIES FOR GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF THE WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES

• Pray that God will open doors for us in other regions of the world to preach the gospel and establish more churches. Pray that more people will be exposed to the preaching of Gods word that goes out from this ministry so that we will have more sons and daughters. Let our children come from afar and nurse at our sides. In areas which seem to be barren land to WAM, lets pray that the Lord will cause such lands to yield for us. Isa 54:1-3: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
• Pray that the Lord will make room for us even in places where there is a strong influence of Satan holding the land captive. In spite of the enemy, Lord, make room for WAM all over the world. Pray that God will prepare a table before us. Gen 26:22: And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth ; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Ps 23:5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

4. IMPACT IN EVERY PLACE WHERE THE STONE CHURCH IS LOCATED

Josh 18:1: And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.

The presence of the congregation of Israel brought about conquest of the land. In the same vein, lets pray that in every place where we gather, the powers of darkness in such places will be subdued before us and as a result, we would impact in the places we are located.

Eph 3:9-10: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

PERSONAL PRAYER AND CONFESSION: PSALM 103

MONDAY 7^TH JAN, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES (WAM)

1. MEMBERSHIP

Pray for a harvest of souls in the WAM worldwide such that a multitude of souls will be added to the body of Christ though this ministry. Let every arm of WAM be effective in bringing people into membership in Gods family. Isa 43:5-6: Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south , Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Ps 2:8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Pray that the Lord will add unto the church such as should be saved. Let our seed gather from the east and the west; command the north and the south to give up our sons and daughters. Isa 66:8: Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed , she brought forth her children. Pray that believers will be added to the Lord through this ministry….multitudes! Acts 5:14: And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Pray for increase as we reach out to labour for souls through various outreach efforts. 1 Cor 3:6-7: God gave the increase . So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

2.      MATURITY: Pray that our members will develop and attain unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that every day we will grow spiritually and be more like Him.

Eph 4:13-14: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Use the following scriptures to pray for every member of the Word Alive Ministry, for spiritual growth and understanding of the word. Pray that our eyes be open so that we will not walk in the dark or be blinded to spiritual things. Pray thay our members will grow and mature unto the fullness of Christ.

• Eph 1:16-19: Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
• Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
• Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures3.MINISTRY: Pray that all our members will be equipped for the work of the ministry and that each mans ministry will be effective and bring blessing to the church of God. Pray that every member of WAM will use their gifts effectively, that none of us will be unprofitable servants who bury their talents. As each part supplies, the body of Christ will increase. Eph 4:16: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Our members will be like the house of Stephanas, who addicted themselves to the work of the ministry.

1 Cor 16:15: I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

Col 4:17: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. Pray that we will all take heed to the ministry we have received in the Lord so that we will fulfill it.

 4.      MISSIONS

Luke 10:1-2: After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Pray that the Lord will give us faithful and committed men and women who we can send out to missions, to establish vibrant churches all over the world. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth labourers into HIS harvest; that we will not lack for men to send forth to missions. . Pray that none of our branches will lack for faithful labourers to serve and do the work willingly and acceptably. Lord, give us men who will help support the work all over the world.

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Pray for doors to open this year for us to be able to establish new churches all over the world, doors for us to preach the gospel and disciple men so as to fulfill the great commission. We desire that through the WAM, we would be able to preach the gospel to every creature.

Pray for increase and expansion of the word on air; that through this medium, we would be able to reach more souls. The word on air broadcast will be more effective and impactful this year in Jesus name.

Pray that through our branches and the word on air broadcast, we would be able to preach the gospel in the regions beyond us. 2 Cor 10:16: To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.

Pray for all our existing branches worldwide for increase and expansion. Pray for every branch of the Stone Church worldwide for relevance in their locality. Pray that multitudes will gather in our churches to hear the word and to be healed. Luke 5:15: But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. Pray that our churches will fulfil our divine mandate in bringing people into membership in Gods family…the Lord will add unto us such as should be saved. Pray for numerical increase in all our churches. Acts 2:47….And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 1:7: And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Pray that the revelation of God’s word will increase in all our branches such that the number of disciples in all our branches will increase.

 5.      MAGNIFY 1 Peter 2:9: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Pray that WAM will be a praise in the earth and thus glorify Gods name. We shall not bring shame to the name of the Lord.  Pray for signs and wonders among us that will cause the name of the Lord to be magnified among us. Acts 19:17: And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified .

2 Thess 1:11-12: Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thess 3:1: Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified , even as it is with you:

Pray that God will take His place in our churches and be glorified. Pray that Gods word will run freely among us.

6. FINANCES OF THE MINISTRY

The financial state of the ministry is very important. When we prosper financially, it wil enable us to reach more parts of the world with the gospel and establish more churches. Our vision is worldwide and we need money to be effective in mission work. Zech 1:17: Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. Through prosperity shall the Stone Church be spread abroad. Let’s pray for financial abundance to enable us:

• To plant more churches and reach more people this year and to enlarge our territories
•  Gain more grounds through the media outreach (Word on Air).
•  To finish the building project of the ministry, the Word Alive International Convention Center.

2 Cor 9:8: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Phil 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1. Resist the devil

• Zech 1:18-21: Pray against every counsel and plan of Satan to scatter the church, to bring disunity and strife in the church of God. Pray against all schemes of the power of darkness against the church. Resist all agents of the enemy in our midst. Zech 1:18-21: Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
• Matt 16:18-19: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

TUESDAY 8^TH JAN, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES (WAM)

1. REVIVAL OF THE SPIRIT

Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all our churches. When the scripture in Joel 2:28-32 was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, God announced the Church with the demonstration of His power! The spirit of prophecy was released and the gospel was preached with power bringing multitudes to the Lord in one day! Lets pray for such experiences in our churches. The revival is always accompanied with outstanding miracles, so we can pray and believe God for miracles to be wrought by the power of God in our services.

Pray also that our members will be more committed to God this year as the spirit of grace is released upon us. Pray that God will heal the church of backsliding and restore us. Hos 14:4-8: I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. Resist lukewarmness, deception and carnality in the church. Our members will be full of the Holy Ghost and power throughout the year 2013.

Pray that the Lord will cause to come down for us the rain such that we will be abundantly satisfied and enjoy restoration, such that it will be obvious that God is with us in the Word Alive Ministries. Pray that He will visit all our churches and bring a refreshing. The rain will bring the blessing of God upon our churches therefore we pray for a downpour of rain, the anointing of God upon us in as we enter into a new year of great opportunities.

Joel 2:23-27: Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Ps 65:9-10: Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

2. MINISTRY PROGRAMMES

Pray for all the programmes of the ministry this year that we will witness the manifest presence of God amongst us. Pray also for the gifts of the Spirit to be given as we gather together so that the Church can be strengthened and blessed by these gifts. Our programmes this year include Dunamis Convention, Workers Conference, Pastors Retreat, Committee of Pastors meeting. Pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and touch our lives in a definite way.

Acts 4:33: And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Pray the Lord will cause to experience His power so that we will be effective witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus and that great grace will be upon all our members.

Mic 4:1-2: But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Pray that the Lord will establish WAM in 2013, we shall be established on top of the mountains and exalted above the hills and people shall be attracted to come. Lets pray that in Dunamis 2013, we shall witness a flow of multitudes into the Church and anointed teaching of the word of God.

3. NUMERICAL GROWTH

Pray for a harvest of souls in the WAM worldwide such that a multitude of souls will be added to the body of Christ though this ministry. Let every arm of WAM be effective in bringing people into membership in Gods family. Isa 43:5-6: Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south , Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Ps 2:8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Pray that the Lord will add unto the church such as should be saved. Let our seed gather from the east and the west; command the north and the south to give up our sons and daughters. Isa 66:8: Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed , she brought forth her children. Pray that believers will be added to the Lord through this ministry….multitudes! PRAYER TOPIC: THE STONE CHURCH (Our local assembly)

1. PRAYERS FOR THE RESIDENT PASTOR

• Pray for strength in his spirit, soul and body that he will be strong to carry out the mandate that God has given him. 1Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for him that he will be strong and of a good courage so as to provide Godly leadership. Josh 1:6-7.
• Pray for open heavens over his ministry, for more revelation of God’s word, the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, more grace and anointing over his life for more effectiveness in the work committed into his hands.
•  Pray that the Lord will enlighten his darkness, for wisdom that comes from God and for understanding to make Godly decisions concerning the ministry. Ps 18:28-29: For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Prov 24:3-5:Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

• Pray against every plan of Satan against him and his family members. Pray that the Lord will put a shield round about him such that the enemy will not be able to move near to afflict him.

Ps 89: 20-22: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Is54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Zech 13:7: Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

• Commit him to the hands of the Lord, cover him in the blood of Jesus, prophesy over his life that the enemy will not prevail against him; he will be strong to finish his race well. Pray that the Lord will be a shield round about him at all times; a pillar of cloud by day and of fire by night.

2. ASSOCIATE PASTORS AND ELDERS

• Jer 3:15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Pray for all our pastors and elders in our church that the Lord will teach them His ways so that they can adequately feed the people with sound knowledge and instruction. Ecc 9:8: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Pray that our pastors will not lack the required grace, that the Lord will anoint them with fresh oil for the work. Prov 24:3: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom so that they will build the people and cause them to be established firmly in the word.
• 1Chron 16:21-22: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Pray for divine protection for all our pastors and elders, they will be far from oppression and from terror.
• Mark 16:20: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Pray that as they teach Gods word, the Lord will confirm His word with signs, miracles, healings, deliverance, salvation, etc….
• Pray for God’s blessing upon them and their families. Heb 6:10

3. CHURCH MEMBERS

Pray for spiritual growth and maturity of every member of our church. This year, there shall be no feeble person amongst us in Jesus name. the Lord will bring us through this year with silver and gold and we shall be strong and vibrant spiritually. Ps 105:37: He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

Use the following scriptures to pray for them:

4. OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF THE WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES

• Pray that God will open doors for us in other regions in this city to preach the gospel and establish more churches. Pray that more people will be exposed to the preaching of Gods word that goes out from this church so that we will have more sons and daughters. Let our children come from afar and nurse at our sides. In areas which seem to be barren land to WAM, lets pray that the Lord will cause such lands to yield for us. Isa 54:1-3: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
• Pray that the Lord will make room for us even in places where there is a strong influence of Satan holding the land captive. In spite of the enemy, Lord, make room for this local assembly in other regions of this state and its environs. Pray that God will prepare a table before us. Gen 26:22: And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth ; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Ps 23:5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

5. IMPACT IN THE PLACE WHERE WE ARE LOCATED

Josh 18:1: And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.

The presence of the congregation of Israel brought about conquest of the land. In the same vein, lets pray that in this place where we are located, the powers of darkness will be subdued before us and as a result, we would impact in this land.

Eph 3:9-10: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Pray for miracles in our meetings, terminal sicknesses healed by the power of God, impossible cases touched by the healing anointing. Pray for creative miracles….such as new wombs, new eyes, new legs, etc for as many as have one form of disability or the other. Pray that in our services, the power of God will be present to heal the sick. Luke 5:17: And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

Acts 5:14: And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Pray for increase as we reach out to labour for souls through various outreach efforts. 1 Cor 3:6-7: God gave the increase . So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Pray that all our outreach efforts will yield fruits this year. We will not labour in vain.

4. PRAYERS FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT GODS WORK IN THIS CHURCH THROUGH THEIR TITHES AND OFFERINGS

Lets pray for all those who faithfully bring of their substance to the house of God. Pray that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that the devourer will not be able to touch. Let the grace of God abound to everyone who gives to the work in this house such that they will be sufficient in all areas of their lives.

Mal 3:10-12: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

2 Cor 9:6-8: But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

FRIDAY 11^TH JAN, 2013

PRAYER TOPIC: CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN

1. Is 54:2-3: Enlarge your house; build an addition; spread out your home! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will take over other nations and live in their cities. (NLT). Prayer: Our children shall take over other nations and live in their cities.
2. Is 54:13: And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. Prayer: Our children shall be taught of the Lord, to know Him, love Him and to serve Him. The Lord opens the understanding of our children and they fear the Lord, living their lives with purpose. Because our children are taught of the Lord, they have peace, Shalom, nothing missing, nothing broken in their lives in Jesus name. They are sound spiritually and physically.
3. Is 54:14: In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Prayer: Our children shall be established in righteousness, they shall be far from oppression for they shall not fear. They shall be far from terror for it shall not come near them. They shall not be victims of oppression or terror…they shall not be oppressed by sickness or disease or by the evil one.
4. Psalm 112:2: Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. (NLT) His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. (KJV) Prayer: Our children shall be mighty upon the earth, they shall be influential, they shall be successful everywhere. They shall prosper in all their ways and in all they lay their hands upon; their gifts will make room for them. Our children shall shine like stars in the nations of the world. Our generations shall be blessed.
5. Prov 11:2: Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

Is 54:15, 17: Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake… No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. Prayer: Our children shall be delivered in Jesus name.  Everyone that rises up against them shall fall for their sake. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. They will not die before their time; they will fulfill their days in Jesus name. They will live to fulfill purpose and live to a good and ripe age.

6. Psalm 34:25-26: I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Prayer: Our children shall not be forsaken; they shall not beg for bread, they shall not lack any good thing. All their needs are abundantly supplied by God according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. They are compassed with favour as a shield. They are blessed and they are a blessing.
7. Prov 13:22: A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Prayer: because I’m the righteousness of God in Christ, I’m a good man and I leave an inheritance for my children and my children’s children. I leave a godly heritage for my children, a heritage of righteousness, peace and joy. I leave an inheritance of the knowledge of the Lord and love for God for my children. The wealth of the sinner is laid up for my children.
8. Dan 1:17: God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for learning the literature and science of the time. Job 32:8: Surely it is God’s Spirit within people, the breath of the Almighty within them that makes them intelligent. (NLT). Prayer: our children have an unusual aptitude for learning the science and literature of the time. The Spirit of God within them makes them intelligent and they have the knowledge of witty inventions in Jesus name.
9. Pray against any generational and ancestral curses over our children. Resist every influence of Satan in their lives. Eph 4:27: Neither give place to the devil…

12. Ex 23:25-26: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. Pray for the healing and health of our children. Resist every spirit of infirmity over the lives of our chidren. Decree peace in their bodies and physical strength to serve the Lord.
13. SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND MATURITY: pray for spiritual growth and maturity using the scriptures Eph 1:17-19 and Eph 3:16-19.
14. FAVOR/SWEET SMELL

• GEN 27:27-29: And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed: Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee. PRAYER: Our children smell like a field which the Lord has blessed, therefore people serve them and nations bow to them.
• Psalm 5:12: For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

15. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Pray for our youths that they will excel in their academic pursuits. Pray for a sound mind and knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom. Pray that God will give our youth Godly wisdom such that they will stand out among their colleagues, pray for the knowledge of witty inventions, creative skill and ability!

Prov 8:12: I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. Dan 1:17: As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Job 32:7-8: I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Pray in particular for the youths having issues in their academics, pray that God will heal them and open their understanding. Break every cycle of failure in their lives. Pray for those with delays in gaining admission into higher institutions.

16. Protection and Deliverance: Ps 91; Is 54:14, 17. Resist every form of oppression in the lives of our children. Pray against premature death, our children shall live to a ripe old age and in good health; we will not cast our our young! Ex 23:25-26: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young , nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

• Cover every child in this Church with the blood of Jesus, pray for Gods divine protection over them to shield them from evil and destruction. Pray that they will be protected from every evil being perpetrated in our land, they shall not be victims of kidnappings, rituals, initiation into secret societies
• Pray for protection against accidents, Ps 91:11-12: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

17. Revival of the spirit. Pray that the Lord will set the hearts of our children on fire, that they will be consumed with zeal. Resist every spirit of lukewarmness and self centeredness. Joel 2:28-29: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

• Pray for sound health for all the members of the junior church…..spirit, soul and body.

1 Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Resist the spirit of infirmity and pray for the healing and health of all our chidren. Jer 30:17: For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD;

3 John 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
