Omitowoju Outreach – Update

The outreach ministry of the church is moving the soul winning train to Omitowoju, a community in the city of Ibadan.

The soul winning journey for 2012 started in the University of Ibadan (UI) with the theme “3D: Spirit, Soul and Body”, then moved to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan with the event tagged “Ignite” and now heading towards Omitowoju.

The strategy employed here is “Win and Keep the Soul”. Members participating in this event are enjoined to build, keep and sustain a healthy functional relationship with every soul they win until the soul is firm, deeply rooted and brought to full maturity in Christ.

A float was held in the community on Wednesday 15th, 2012 with handbills and flyers largely distributed to sensitize the inhabitants of the coming event. In view of this, this week Wednesday bible study and Friday vigil has been cancelled to allow maximum participation to all members of the church.

The outreach is a 2-Day event starting on Friday August 17, 2012 with a door-to-door evangelism and a film show at Sacred Heart Primary School on Saturday the 18th at 5:00 pm respectively.

We pray and look forward to a bumper harvest of souls into the kingdom of Heaven by depopulating hell.
