Engaging Your Will for Victorious Living

Faith is not merely an emotion or a passive mental agreement; true faith is anchored directly in the human will. Just as a car requires its gear system to be engaged before it can move forward, spiritual victory requires an active decision to obey God. Before God, every individual is defined by what they truly will to do.

Many people struggle in their spiritual walk because their will remains unyielded. Like the rich young ruler who walked away from Jesus because of his earthly possessions, or students who compromise their convictions out of fear of losing relationships, a divided will hinders God’s power. True Christianity leaves no room for deliberate disobedience; obedience is the ultimate test of an authentic relationship with Christ.

When you consciously choose to align your will with God’s word, the internal resistance of the flesh begins to break down. You stop making excuses based on your profession or background and start embracing God’s standard. Engaging your will unlocks the dormant power of the Holy Spirit within you, propelling your life forward into unprecedented spiritual breakthroughs.
