God Will Visit You

And Joseph said to his brethren, I die; and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land into the land which he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob (Genesis 50:24). Those were the words of Joseph when he was about to die and he assured them God will surely visit Israel. He spoke here for time and eternity.

Though Israel was blessed in Egypt, that was not the fulfillment of the prophecy because there was so much more God could still do for them. Joseph spoke into the future and he did this so that the Israelites could prepare for the great future just ahead of them. When preparation meets divine visitation, there would be immense blessing and liberation.

Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them… Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments (Exodus 6:1-6).

The Scripture above marked the fulfillment of the prophecy God gave to Joseph. God has a time-table especially as it concerns His time of visitation. Whenever God wants to do a thing, He would give a message ahead of time and repeat it severally for emphasis. When you relate with God, you need to understand His system of timing so that you do not become discouraged.

Most believers relate wrongly with God because they do not understand His timing. God has an MO (Modus Operandi). His MO states that, I will make a promise and then I will perform it. Before God does anything, He will first say it ahead of time. God says that I will surely fulfill my promise, and because He has said it, He will surely do it.
