Over the past four months, the physical meetings and services were suspended as a result of the global pandemic. Government regulations and safety precautions have kept us from gathering together. Services have instead held online, and we’ve had virtual choir while we used technology to connect.
All thanks be to God for keeping us all safe and secure and we are even more grateful that we are able to meet again for church services even now that the lockdown has been lifted. While some may think it necessary to stay home for health reasons, beyond that, everyone is welcome and free to congregate with us in church once again.
Indeed God designed humanity for fellowship and communion. We are spiritual and social beings and we have been fashioned to relate and interact with every member of the body of Christ. In the recent months, we’ve seen the power of our online world. But we’ve also felt its limitations. As it is, no loving couple gladly accepts a long-distance relationship as ideal. Neither should a loving church family.
Romans 12:5, So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1 Corinthians 12:26-27, And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
We may be at different stages and ages in life, but we are united as one big family, The Stone Church Family, God’s Spiritual Family. Families are not meant to be disconnected. Strong families live together, grow together, rejoice together, celebrate together and cry together, and help each other. That is God’s intention and that is our intention too as we welcome you back to church.
We have missed you!
Welcome back!
