Worship with us in your neighbourhood

The Stone Church was first established in Nigeria in 1993, marking the beginning of a powerful movement of faith and transformation. From its humble beginnings, the church has grown into a beacon of light, carrying the message of Jesus Christ across the nation and beyond.
In Nigeria and throughout Africa, The Stone Church is committed to winning souls through vibrant worship, sound biblical teaching, and community outreach. By planting branches in cities and towns, the church has created centers of hope where lives are renewed, families are restored, and believers are equipped to live out their faith boldly.
Through evangelism, discipleship, and missions, The Stone Church continues to touch countless lives across Africa. Its focus remains steadfast: to proclaim the gospel of Christ, raise leaders filled with the Holy Spirit, and build a generation passionate about advancing God’s Kingdom.
Today, The Stone Church stands as a testimony to the power of God’s grace in Africa—a movement dedicated to transforming lives and shaping the continent for Christ.

A Land of Diversity and Faith

Nigeria stands as the most populous nation in Africa, home to over 220 million people and a vibrant mosaic of cultures, languages, and traditions. Located in West Africa with a southern coastline along the Gulf of Guinea, Nigeria is a nation of both historic significance and modern influence. Abuja serves as the capital, while Lagos remains the bustling economic and cultural hub of the country.
With more than 500 languages spoken, Nigeria’s people embody remarkable diversity. The Hausa-Fulani, Yoruba, and Igbo represent the three largest ethnic groups, but the nation embraces over 250 distinct communities, each contributing to the richness of its cultural heritage. Nigerians are renowned for their warmth, resilience, and strong sense of community, values that shine through in daily life, art, music, and food.
Faith is central to the Nigerian identity. Christianity flourishes in the South and Central regions through Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal, and evangelical expressions, while Islam is deeply rooted in the North with centuries of spiritual and scholarly tradition. Alongside these, traces of traditional African religions still echo in customs and practices, reflecting the spiritual depth of the nation.
Nigeria is also a leader in creativity and influence. Its music, particularly Afrobeats, captivates global audiences; Nollywood ranks among the world’s most prolific film industries; and its cuisine—highlighted by jollof rice, suya, and pounded yam—delights both locals and visitors alike. Football, the country’s beloved sport, unites millions with passion and pride.
Nigeria is truly a land where faith, culture, and people converge to create one of the most dynamic nations in the world.
