FRIDAY 5TH JULY, 2013

PRAYER TOPIC: NATION

1. PEACE AND PROSPERITY

• Pray for peace, safety and prosperity in Nigeria. Pray that the Lord will make a covenant of peace with this nation bringing safety, prosperity and deliverance from our oppressors. Ezekiel 34: 25-27: And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.
• Safety/ security: abort every plan to perpetrate crisis and unrest in the land. Is 60:18…..Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; Refuse every form of violence in the land in form of religious or political crisis!
• Proclaim that righteousness will be found within our borders, and that the nation will be exalted. Isa 45:8: Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.(NLT)
• Pray against terrorism in Nigeria, curse the spirit behind such evil from the roots,,, Matt 15:13: But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Jer 1:9-10: Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

 2. GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA/LEADERSHIP

• Pray for righteousness to reign in Nigeria, for a government that is just and fair. Pray for the fear of God in the heart of every citizen of Nigeria. Decree peace in every nook and cranny of this land. Confess the word over our land, we shall live in peace and terror will not come near in Jesus’ name! Is 54:13: I will teach all your citizens, and their prosperity will be great. You will live under a government that is just and fair. Your enemies will stay far away; you will live in peace. Terror will not come near. (NLT)
• Pray that our leaders will be just and rule us in the fear of the Lord, giving direction and bring hope to the people. 2 Sam 23:3-4: The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.
• Pray for and commit our leaders to God, that they will be useful instruments in His hand to bring His will ti pass in our land. Prov 21:1: The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
• We decree that God rules in Nigeria, this land and all its fullness belong to Jehovah and He alone rules and directs the affairs of our land! Ps 103:19: The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

Dan 4:17….to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

 3. CHURCH/HARVEST OF SOULS

• Pray for the word of God to be effective in the church of God, that Gods word will grow and prevail. 2 Thess 3:1:  Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course , and be glorified, even as it is with you: pray that the word will run freely. Acts 19:20: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
• Pray for salvation of souls all across the nation. Pray that the Lord will pour out his Spirit on all flesh ushering in a great harvest of souls into the kingdom. ( Ps 2:8; Joel 2:28). Ask God for a harvest of souls all over the country, pray that all over the land, men shall begin to call upon the name of the Lord.
• Pray in particular for Islamic leaders, those in the occult, etc that God will touch their hearts like He did for Paul on his way to Damascus who later became Saul and was used mightily of God to reach the gentiles with the gospel.
• Pray that the veil covering the minds of sinners in Nigeria be removed. Resist the strong man over Nigeria and insist that the captives will go free. (Matt 12:29)
• Pray that the gospel will reach every nook and cranny of the nation. Pray the gospel will be preached unhindered in the land. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send labourers into the every part of our land such that the knowledge of the Lord will fill the land as the waters cover the sea.(Luke 10:2;Isaiah 11:9)

• Members to pray that the land of Nigeria will produce for them, that they will prosper and be fruitful in this country. Is. 1:19; Gen 26:12-15).

PERSONAL PRAYER AND CONFESSION: PSALM 23

 SATURDAY 6^TH JULY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: PERSONAL REVIVAL/SEEKING GOD

• These scriptures should be used to pray for a revival in our personal lives as we seek God with all our hearts.
• Each one should rededicate their lives to God afresh in this New Year and promise a greater level of devotion and faithfulness to Him. Pray that you will enter into new depths in your walk with God this year.

Hos 10:12: Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Amos 5:6: Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

2 Chron 15:1-2: 15:1 And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded: And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Jer 29:11-14: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Ps 27:8: When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways, so I may know you and continue to find favor with you… Show me your glory. – Moses (Exodus 33:13,18)

God looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.” – Psalm 53:2

I will give them a heart to know me. – Jeremiah 24:7

O Lord, God of our fathers, keep this desire in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you. And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion to keep your commands, requirements, and decrees. – I Chronicles 29:18-19

For it is God who works in you to will and act according to His good purpose.- Phil. 2:13

One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house (presence) of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in his temple. – (Psalm 27:4)

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God ? – (Psalm 42:1-2)

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory… your love is better than life (Psalm 63:1-3)

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty ! My soul yearns even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. (Psalm 84:1-2)

Now devote your heart and souls to seeking the Lord your God. – I Chronicles 22:19

And you my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek Him he will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. – I Chronicles 28:9

For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. – Jer. 29:11-13

I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish that I may gain Christ… I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings. (Philippians 3:8-11)

PERSONAL PRAYER AND CONFESSION: ISAIAH 54

SUNDAY 7^TH JULY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES LEADERSHIP

1. PASTORS

• Jer 3:15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Pray for all our pastors in all our branches that the Lord will teach them His ways so that they can adequately feed the people with sound knowledge and instruction. Ecc 9:8: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Pray that our pastors will not lack the required grace, that the Lord will anoint them with fresh oil for the work. Prov 24:3: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom so that they will build the people and cause them to be established firmly in the word.
• 1Chron 16:21-22: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Pray for divine protection for all our pastors, they will be far from oppression and from terror.
• Mark 16:20: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Pray that as they teach Gods word, the Lord will confirm His word with signs, miracles, healings, deliverance, salvation, etc….
• Pray for God’s blessing upon them and their families. Heb 6:10

2. PRAYERS FOR THE SENIOR PASTOR

• Pray for strength in his spirit, soul and body that he will be strong to carry out the mandate that God has given him. 1Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Pray for open heavens over his ministry, for more revelation of God’s word, the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, more grace and anointing over his life for more effectiveness in the work committed into his hands.
•  Pray that the Lord will enlighten his darkness, for wisdom that comes from God and for understanding to make Godly decisions concerning the ministry. Ps 18:28-29: For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
• Pray against every plan of Satan against him and his family members.

Ps 89: 20-22: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Is54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

• Commit him to the hands of the Lord, cover him in the blood of Jesus, prophesy over his life that the enemy will not prevail against him; he will be strong to finish his race well.

3. CHURCH WORKERS

• Spiritual growth and maturity: pray that our workers will grow in the knowledge of God’s word. Pray that the Lord will grant them deep understanding of His word. Luke 24:45; Eph 1:17-23
• Protection and Deliverance: Ps 91; Is 54:14, 17. Resist every form of oppression in the lives of everyone who labours in the house of the Lord.
• Prosperity and fruitfulness: Is 45:1-3: And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness-secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.
• Revival of the spirit. Pray that the Lord will set our hearts on fire, that all our members will be consumed with zeal. Resist every spirit of lukewarmness and self centeredness. Joel 2:28-29: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

4. HOMs/HOFs/BOMs

• Pray that the Lord will cause our leaders to run with the vision of the ministry. Pray that the Lord will give them an understanding of the times and of the seasons.
• Pray for protection from the assaults of the enemy. Is 54:17
• Pray that they will be full of Godly wisdom.
• Pray for physical and spiritual strength that is required to serve in Gods house. 1Thess 5:23

5. Resist Satan and his agents 1Cor 10:3-5

• Destroy every plan of Satan against the leadership of the church. Frustrate every move to bring strife and disharmony among the leadership. Zech 1:19-21. Is 44:25; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers.

PERSONAL PRAYER AND CONFESSION: ISAIAH 54

MONDAY 8^TH JULY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES

1. THANKSGIVING

Psalm 100:4-5: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

• Give thanks to God for keeping this ministry for the past 18 years! Thank Him also for increasing us and for His grace upon this ministry since inception.
• Thank Him for the souls that have been saved through this ministry and the many lives that have been impacted and transformed through the word taught. Thank God for the revelation of His word He has given unto us, His word is not scarce among us!
• Give God thanks for the Stone Church is marching on and the gates of hell shall not prevail in Jesus’ name!

2. INCREASE/EXPANSION

• Zech 1:17: Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. Pray that the Stone Church will spread across all the nations of the earth and that our existing branches will impact their localities.
• Acts 1:7: And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Pray that the revelation of God’s word will increase in all our branches such that the number of disciples in all our branches will increase. Pray for membership in all our branches.

• Pray for numerical increase in the Stone Church, that the Lord will add souls to us daily and that we will grow and expand to all the nations of the world. Pray for impact in the places where the Stone Church is located. Pray for a revival in all our churches that will bring a harvest of souls into Gods kingdom. Is 43:5-7: Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 1 Cor 3:6: I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. Acts 2:47: And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
• Pray for spiritual growth/maturity of all members of WAM, that the weak ones will be like a strong nation! Pray for increase in the knowledge of the word and for spiritual understanding. Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures ; Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
• ·         Pray for physical strength and divine health to do the work of God effectively. Ex 23:25: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread , and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

3. SPIRITUAL GROWTH/MATURITY

1Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

4. RESIST THE DEVIL

• Zech 1:18-21: Pray against every counsel and plan of Satan to scatter the church, to bring disunity and strife in the church of God. Pray against all schemes of the power of darkness against the church. Resist all agents of the enemy in our midst. Zech 1:18-21: Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
• Come against the spirit of the age which causes lukewarmness, pride, self-centeredness, sexual immorality, religiosity, etc. 2Tim3:1-5
• Joel 2:23-32: Pray for a revival in all our churches; for an outpouring of His Spirit bringing a refreshing and bringing people closer to God. Zech 10:1: Ask the Lord for rain in the spring and he will give it. It is the Lord who makes storm clouds that drop showers of rain so that every field becomes a lush pasture. (NLT). Pray that all our members will grow and mature in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus, that every field brings forth good fruit.
• Matt 9:37-38: Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Pray that none of our branches will lack for faithful labourers to serve and do the work willingly and acceptably. Lord, give us men who will help support the work all over the world.

In order to MAGNIFY Gods name.

Lord, this is the vision you have given us as a church, help us to birth this vision, let the vision speak for us. Help us as a ministry to fulfill our God-given mandate, to step into our destiny, to fulfill purpose! Hab 2:3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

PERSONAL PRAYER AND CONFESSION: PSALM 103

TUESDAY 9^TH JULY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES (WAM)

 1.       MEMBERSHIP

Pray for a harvest of souls in the WAM worldwide such that a multitude of souls will be added to the body of Christ though this ministry. Let every arm of WAM be effective in bringing people into membership in Gods family. Isa 43:5-6: Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south , Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Ps 2:8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Pray that the Lord will add unto the church such as should be saved. Let our seed gather from the east and the west; command the north and the south to give up our sons and daughters. Isa 66:8: Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed , she brought forth her children. Pray that believers will be added to the Lord through this ministry….multitudes! Acts 5:14: And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Pray for increase as we reach out to labour for souls through various outreach efforts. 1 Cor 3:6-7: God gave the increase . So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

2.       MATURITY

Pray that our members will develop and attain unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that every day we will grow spiritually and be more like Him.

Eph 4:13-14: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Use the following scriptures to pray for every member of the Word Alive Ministry, for spiritual growth and understanding of the word. Pray that our eyes be open so that we will not walk in the dark or be blinded to spiritual things. Pray thay our members will grow and mature unto the fullness of Christ.

• Eph 1:16-19: Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
• Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
• Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures

3.  MINISTRY

Pray that all our members will be equipped for the work of the ministry and that each man’s ministry will be effective and bring blessing to the church of God. Pray that every member of WAM will use their gifts effectively, that none of us will be unprofitable servants who bury their talents. As each part supplies, the body of Christ will increase. Eph 4:16: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Our members will be like the house of Stephanas, who addicted themselves to the work of the ministry.

1 Cor 16:15: I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

Col 4:17: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. Pray that we will all take heed to the ministry we have received in the Lord so that we will fulfill it.

4.  MISSIONS

Luke 10:1-2: After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Pray that the Lord will give us faithful and committed men and women who we can send out to missions, to establish vibrant churches all over the world. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth labourers into HIS harvest; that we will not lack for men to send forth to missions. . Pray that none of our branches will lack for faithful labourers to serve and do the work willingly and acceptably. Lord, give us men who will help support the work all over the world.

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Pray for doors to open this year for us to be able to establish new churches all over the world, doors for us to preach the gospel and disciple men so as to fulfill the great commission. We desire that through the WAM, we would be able to preach the gospel to every creature.

Pray for increase and expansion of the word on air; that through this medium, we would be able to reach more souls. The word on air broadcast will be more effective and impactful this year in Jesus name.

Pray that through our branches and the word on air broadcast, we would be able to preach the gospel in the regions beyond us. 2 Cor 10:16: To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.

Pray for all our existing branches worldwide for increase and expansion. Pray for every branch of the Stone Church worldwide for relevance in their locality. Pray that multitudes will gather in our churches to hear the word and to be healed. Luke 5:15: But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. Pray that our churches will fulfil our divine mandate in bringing people into membership in Gods family…the Lord will add unto us such as should be saved. Pray for numerical increase in all our churches. Acts 2:47….And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 1:7: And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Pray that the revelation of God’s word will increase in all our branches such that the number of disciples in all our branches will increase.

5.  MAGNIFY

1 Peter 2:9: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Pray that WAM will be a praise in the earth and thus glorify Gods name. We shall not bring shame to the name of the Lord.  Pray for signs and wonders among us that will cause the name of the Lord to be magnified among us. Acts 19:17: And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

2 Thess 1:11-12: Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thess 3:1: Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Pray that God will take His place in our churches and be glorified. Pray that Gods word will run freely among us.

6.  FINANCES OF THE MINISTRY

The financial state of the ministry is very important. When we prosper financially, it wil enable us to reach more parts of the world with the gospel and establish more churches. Our vision is worldwide and we need money to be effective in mission work. Zech 1:17: Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. Through prosperity shall the Stone Church be spread abroad. Let’s pray for financial abundance to enable us:

• To plant more churches and reach more people this year and to enlarge our territories
•  Gain more grounds through the media outreach (Word on Air).
•  To finish the building project of the ministry, the Word Alive International Convention Center.

2 Cor 9:8: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Phil 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

7.  RESIST THE DEVIL

• Zech 1:18-21: Pray against every counsel and plan of Satan to scatter the church, to bring disunity and strife in the church of God. Pray against all schemes of the power of darkness against the church. Resist all agents of the enemy in our midst. Zech 1:18-21: Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
• Matt 16:18-19: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

WEDNESDAY 10^TH JULY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: THE STONE CHURCH (Our local assembly)

1. PRAYERS FOR THE RESIDENT PASTOR

• Pray for strength in his spirit, soul and body that he will be strong to carry out the mandate that God has given him. 1Thess 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for him that he will be strong and of a good courage so as to provide Godly leadership. Josh 1:6-7.
• Pray for open heavens over his ministry, for more revelation of God’s word, the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, more grace and anointing over his life for more effectiveness in the work committed into his hands.
•  Pray that the Lord will enlighten his darkness, for wisdom that comes from God and for understanding to make Godly decisions concerning the ministry. Ps 18:28-29: For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Prov 24:3-5:Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

• Pray against every plan of Satan against him and his family members. Pray that the Lord will put a shield round about him such that the enemy will not be able to move near to afflict him.

Ps 89: 20-22: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Is54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Zech 13:7: Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

• Commit him to the hands of the Lord, cover him in the blood of Jesus, prophesy over his life that the enemy will not prevail against him; he will be strong to finish his race well. Pray that the Lord will be a shield round about him at all times; a pillar of cloud by day and of fire by night.

2. ASSOCIATE PASTORS AND ELDERS

• Jer 3:15: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Pray for all our pastors and elders in our church that the Lord will teach them His ways so that they can adequately feed the people with sound knowledge and instruction. Ecc 9:8: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Pray that our pastors will not lack the required grace, that the Lord will anoint them with fresh oil for the work. Prov 24:3: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom so that they will build the people and cause them to be established firmly in the word.
• 1Chron 16:21-22: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Pray for divine protection for all our pastors and elders, they will be far from oppression and from terror.
• Mark 16:20: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Pray that as they teach Gods word, the Lord will confirm His word with signs, miracles, healings, deliverance, salvation, etc….
• Pray for God’s blessing upon them and their families. Heb 6:10     

3. CHURCH MEMBERS

Pray for spiritual growth and maturity of every member of our church. This year, there shall be no feeble person amongst us in Jesus name. the Lord will bring us through this year with silver and gold and we shall be strong and vibrant spiritually. Ps 105:37: He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

Use the following scriptures to pray for them:

• Eph 1:16-19: Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
• Eph 3:14-19: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
• Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.
  

4. OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF THE WORD ALIVE MINISTRIES

• Pray that God will open doors for us in other regions in this city to preach the gospel and establish more churches. Pray that more people will be exposed to the preaching of God’s word that goes out from this church so that we will have more sons and daughters. Let our children come from afar and nurse at our sides. In areas which seem to be barren land to WAM, let’s pray that the Lord will cause such lands to yield for us. Isa 54:1-3: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
• Pray that the Lord will make room for us even in places where there is a strong influence of Satan holding the land captive. In spite of the enemy, Lord, make room for this local assembly in other regions of this state and its environs. Pray that God will prepare a table before us. Gen 26:22: And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth ; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Ps 23:5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

5. IMPACT IN THE PLACE WHERE WE ARE LOCATED

Josh 18:1: And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.

The presence of the congregation of Israel brought about conquest of the land. In the same vein, let’s pray that in this place where we are located, the powers of darkness will be subdued before us and as a result, we would impact in this land.

Eph 3:9-10: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

THURSDAY 11^TH JULY, 2013.

PRAYER TOPIC: YOUTH CHURCH

1. SUBMIT TO THE LORD (JAMES 4:7)

Ps 37:5-7: Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him

• Give thanks for the Youth Church, for how far God has taken the church.

• Commit the Youth Church into the hands of God, ask Him to take his place and glorify Himself in our midst.

• Lord, let your will be done in our lives, we give you a free hand to move among us…take your place and establish your counsel among us! Set apart every member and every programme unto the Lord.

2. HARVEST OF SOULS/CHURCH GROWTH

• Travail for many sons and daughters to be born into Gods kingdom in our youth church. Pray that no sinner will be able to escape the power of God in their midst. Command a harvest of souls from every part of Ibadan city. Is 43:5-6; Is 66:8
• Acts 2:47: And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
• Ps2:8:  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Pray that the Lord will add unto our youth church daily such as should be saved. Pray for numerical increase such that this church will be filled with people that will continue stedfastly in Gods word and fellowship. Pray that the mission statement of the church be realized and that the youth church would truly be able to bring people into membership in Gods family.

3.  MEMBERSHIP

• Spiritual growth and maturity: Pray that our youth will grow in the knowledge of Gods word. Pray that the Lord will grant them deep understanding of His word. Luke 24:45; Eph 1:17-23
• Protection and Deliverance: Ps 91; Is 54:14, 17. Resist every form of oppression in the lives of our youth.
• Pray that our youth shall be taught of the Lord and abound in peace. Is 54:13
• Revival of the spirit. Pray that the Lord will set the hearts of our youth on fire, that they will be consumed with zeal. Resist every spirit of lukewarmness and self centeredness. Joel 2:28-29: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. Pray for the operations of the gifts of the spirit among our youths.

Is 66:8: Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children

6.  RESIST SATAN AND HIS AGENTS 1COR 10:3-5

• Destroy every plan of Satan against the youth church. Zech 1:19-21. Is 44:25; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
• Pull down every stronghold in the minds of the youths, cast down wrong imaginations, pray that the word of God will find a place in the heart of every member of the junior church and that the word will take root in every heart.
