I was reading Psalm 91 recently and I came to the 15th verse where God promised He will be with us in trouble. The verse did not suggest that we may be in trouble but rather that we WILL be in trouble at certain times in life. The stories of men who walked with God all through the pages of the Scripture seems to corroborate this: that at certain periods trouble will show up.
If this assertion is true it is proper to expect that the devil is probably brewing trouble for our marriages, aiming to scatter our union and thereby challenge the faith in our lives, in the lives of our children and those of people around us. Moreover the ultimate goal of the devil is to destroy the church of Christ possibly by destroying Christian marriages.
You would have realized by now that anointing is no insulation to marital disharmony. All around us there are anointed men of God with broken homes. One way through which God ensures that we overcome marital troubles is to equip us upfront with appropriate knowledge to deal with situations as they come.
That equipping is the goal of the next Couples Retreat. Using a variety of approaches viz: counseling, teaching of God’s word by the Senior Pastor, true life testimonies and advice, interactive sessions etc. There, married couples will be taught how to handle tricky situations so that we can emerge victorious. You will do yourself a world of good by making the necessary sacrifice to participate in the next Couples Retreat coming up on the 8th & 9th August 2014. It will cost N35,000 for the weekend.
It is true that amount will be too much for some so the organizers are making efforts to allow for those who can’t pay the full amount to pay a little less and yet be able to attend the sessions without sleeping in the premises. Nothing good comes cheap!
It cost the wise virgins extra money to get additional oil in reserve, the foolish ones thought it was wastage and by the time they realized otherwise it was too late. Please plan to make the necessary sacrifice to be part of God’s move and have extra oil in your lamp in preparation for the day of trouble.
